Ask KD what he could do with an extra $1mil a year. That amount would be a 50% increase in money available. Better assistant coaches, increased recruiting budget, the ability to pay for better home game opponents etc... If you think those things wouldn't make a difference to an already good program you don't understand how things get done.

My son's friend says they are going to have both helmets.

I am going to try and find out from my son whether they plan on using both helmets.

The coaching staff can't make any comments about recruiting until after signing day this Wednesday. KD was asked about Abreu but didn't give a definite answer. Honestly, the entire program was hampered by a really poor PA setup. It was very difficult to understand what was being said by anyone at the podium.

Thanks everyone. There a lot of loyal fans of the Zip's basketball program, so in receiving this award I was very surprised and honored. I have really enjoyed the last ten years since KD came on the scene. The previous 20 were somewhat of a basketball wasteland so I cherish every victory. It will be great when the program takes the next step and consistently wins in the post season and I plan on being there to root them on.

We should start calling this the "GP1 Constant".

I would compare him to Hundley. North-South runner and tough to bring down. I saw him several times and he was a guy who the more carries he got the better he ran.
