  1. I really believe that last season was going to be our breakout. With Z, Q, AA and Tree that team was stacked. Then two things happened. Were either of them something the coach could have foreseen or controlled? IMHO, the answer is NO! Unfortunately one of those events had a big effect on this season too. Considering everything that happened, its a miracle we won 21 games. I think KD is already making changes to get us back onto the right path.
  2. I wonder how many university presidents have a big wardrobe of sweater vests. Will our new one be a trend setter in that field? It looks like we are going to find out. Does Vegas lay odds on this appointment? I could make a lot of money!
  3. WMU down by 20 to Syracuse with 15 minutes left in the second half.
  4. Masochist!
  5. Don't worry, our next president of the school is definitely a sports guy. I'm confident he will keep us moving forward.
  6. He must be a Democrat.
  7. We held WMU to 52 points in regulation. That was a very good defensive effort. We lost the game on the offensive end.
  8. We have a practice at 9 am Monday.
  9. WMU'S hack a tree strategy worked to perfection.
  10. C J was named PSAC Champion Scholar. http://www.gannonsports.com/news/2014/3/9/mbb_0309144727.aspx
  11. I'd like some of what those guys are smoking. Archer as a first round pick!
  12. After this prediction it looks like the Zips are a lock to win it all!
  13. Unfortunately Casa Mimi"s has closed. They were our favorite Italian place in Akron. Mimi Perfetto retired quite a few years ago and sold the place to his nephew Joe Perfetto who ran it until he decided to retire also. Casa Mimi had a really great selection of unique Italian dishes including Saltimbocca and Scungilli. And after dinner you could always ask Mimi for some of his homemade Italian white lightning, Grappa. We miss the tacky Italian decor and the hillbilly waitresses from Kenmore.
  14. When you have a QB who has no ability to read a defense and stands in the pocket too long it makes the O-line look really bad. Before Hoyer got injured the O-line looked pretty good. He knew when and where to throw the ball.
  15. I agree. I would rather face OU than have to beat EMU 3 times in one season.
  16. What exactly would that be? I thought Evans was a no show last night.
  17. After watching the game at home later, Q definitely deserved the T. He tried to hand the ball to the Can't player. The only problem is he mistook the guys head for his hands. Not Q's best performance last night. In the post game interview after the UB game KD said he never knows which Q is going to show up each game. The one that showed up last night is giving him gray hairs.
  18. Please give it a rest. Even your fellow fans over at UB Fan aren't interested in your crap.
  19. It looks like Q was right about being "turned loose earlier in the game'. The other thing that I've noticed is how much better Evans has played since he has started playing at shooting guard instead of at the point.
  20. Ivey will probably be a Grey Shirt. That means we still have one scholarship left for next year.
  21. How many MAC titles has your guy won?

  23. It would be great if we could get 10 minutes from him.
  24. Neither one of them participated in the contact drills today.
