Elton mentioned he could be out for 1 month, which wouldn't be catastrophic....get a few games under his belt in December, and he's good-to-go for the MAC season (Deji, not Elton).This could be much Abreu about nothing?

Our offense can't control the ball to save it's life. I can't recall one long drive this season that wasn't aided by some inane penalty or mistake by the opponent.The Zips are the Get Well Card for the MAC's downtrodden. Look for a bad CMU team to be the latest in a looooong list of D1 opponents to thoroughly drub Rob Ianallo's team on it's home field.The MAC has figured it out - stop Chisholm and the Zips are done.

And don't act like you didn't initiate, or escalate it. The Moderators here are not stupid. 2.) PM, at ZN.o means "Positive Message." If you PM someone, you should be telling them you agree with them, you liked their post, you want to hook up and have a pre-game beer one day, etc. A PM is NOT infer "I'm seated in Section XX Buddy, and if you want a piece of me, you know where I'm at." That use of the PM function sickens me. If some of you thin-skinned posters want to know why some Zips fans stay away from this board, you really need to look in the mirror. You THINK you're right when you point fingers at others and decry their actions, but you are in fact more responsible than you ever could fathom.3.) There are a few people on ZN.o who are compelled to, almost hourly, force their version of morality on the other posters and on ZN.o in general. They rarely talk about the game, but opine on how this would be a better place if only people could see the world through their eyes. You guys need to SHUT UP. I don't have time to deal with 3rd Grade BS. When this board becomes "work" for the Moderators, and not "fun," things must change.

Other schools in Division 1 football seem to find success without Jim Tressel. In fact, every successful D-1 program is enjoying it's success this season without Jim Tressel. Why can't the Zips identify such a coach?

LR8 has shown he can run for a 1st down when the pocket collapses. He's a tough kid. Other than that, he hasn't shown much positive. If he needs to rely on the actual play-call, rather than running around like Fran Tarkenton, he's struggled.He had the chance to lead the team to wins against FIU and EMU, and the Zips offense fizzled in both 4th quarters. LR8 needs to pick up his game. Big time. Butchie could win, Frye could win, Getsy could win...even Jacquemain could win. It is tough watching such terrible QB play after a string of pretty decent ones.
