I am not sure which of (Ohio, Miami, or CMU) will be the easiest to handle at the Q. As far as BG is concerned, how is playing OSU in the browns stadium different than playing OSU in the shoe? Do they really expect people in cleveland to cheer for them? In my opinion, they are dumbly doing OSU a huge favor.

As long as we win and Miami beats the Bubbacats. Currently 29-11 Miami with 5:05 in the first half.

Can't was in the tourney everytime they deserved to (at large or not).It is just happening that in the years they are good, they end up winning the tourney and making it without at-large.

Playing Duke and NC did not get Can't where they are. It is beating GMU and St. Mary that got Can't where they are.Playing teams does not get you anywhere, beating teams get you somewhere. Saying that we did not schedule any tought team is unfair, we had a schedule with Dayton, Winthrop, VCU, Miami(2), Ohio(2), Can't(2), and temple.All of those teams have been top 50 RPI teams. We just didn't beat them. The problem is not about the playing part, it is about the beating part.

Zipsbandman, with all respect, that's not a valid argument. Are you basically saying that you want the rest of the MAC to suck so that they stay in the MAC?Did you see Butler moving anywhere? Why can't we see the MAC growing as a conference?

Comparing the last 4 years of our program to the previous 2 decades, it is clear that KD is great upgrade over his predecessor(s). The question is how ambitious are we? would we be happy with the relative success of KD being an upgrade over Hipsher or are we targeting MAC championships and NCAA bids?We were certainly the best MAC team last year and we deserved to go dancing but we didn't. Are we going to be the best MAC team anytime in the near future or are we just going to be a decent MAC team that competes but come short.We can talk about fan support, the JAR needing upgrade and the MAC refs hating us or so many other dilusional excuses. It mainly boils down to the players we are putting on the hard wood. KD's relative success was mainly based on his ST-V/Lebron connection. He brought it 2 recruits in Romeo and Dru and added J-wood who played against them in HS. We also were lucky in bringing Dials who was unhappy at OSU. These were the core of our relative success. Now KD has a real test to pass, was this relative success a fluke based on his St-V connection or was it the foundation of a greater success?I love and support KD as much as the next guy but looking at the last few classes, I am keeping my fingers crossed.2003: Romeo, Dru, J-Wood Probably the best class in Zips history. A2004: Dials, Cedrick, Quade, Bubba Good class, not as good as the 2003 though. B2005: Linhart, Rybak, Conyers Below average, Linhart is the only "inconsistent" contributor D2006: McKnight, Bardo, McNeese, Roberts 3/4 redshirts, incomplete. 2007: B. I was cheering for Can't and i would cheer for every MAC team when they play OOC.Comparing Can't State to OSU is absurd. OSU takes away media time, fan support and mainly make people feel that they are the only team that matter in the state. No matter how successful OSU is, we do not get anything out of it because they will never come play us at the JAR.On the other side, Can't may take away recruits and fan support but they will never be considered the only team that matters in the state. Moreover, the main thing is that even if Can't become the number 1 team in the country, they will come to the JAR year in year out and play us. So we will have the chance to beat a ranked team. We had countless threads on this board discussing scheduling. We all agreed that the weak conference schedule makes our SOS even worse. We all wanted the conference to become better, right? Now that somebody in the conference is having success (it is Can't allright), why are we changing our minds?The best scenario i can ask for is having a strong conference with ranked teams every year. Look at what Butler did to the horizon league. Recruits may decide to go to a horrible team like YSU over the mac just to get the chance to play against Butler every year.In a nutshell, OSU's success has a lot of disadvantages and no advantage whatsoever. Can't's success has some disadvanatges but a lot of advantages as well.

District, congrats on your win; you guys have a great team. Good luck in the NCAA tournament, i will be rooting for you.VCU is a very good team, they seem to recruit at a different level. Schuler, Maynor and the block shot guy are great talents and i think they are all coming back next year.The refs sucked but i will not say that they cheated. Sucking refs are part of the game and should not be used as an excuse for a lost game.Congrats to VCU, let's get together and get that 3rd seed.

I'm always rooting for the MAC against any non-mac. That's a no brainer. Go flushies! Some things never change though

What a huge win. We're back baby... with a first round bye pretty much guarranteed, let's secure that 3rd seed and every body gotta watch out at the Q.I have to admit, once we were up by two and Linhart missed the one and one with 12 seconds left, i thought we will see a deja vu. I am glad somebody blocked that shot.As someone else said, it is great to have Cedrick back and even greater to welcome C McKnight.Now we need a big favour from Mr Coles and his team when OU visit Millet hall.

Why wouldn't KD want B. McKnight driving to the basket?That's a good question... he played for few minutes against NIU, driving to the basket, was 4/4 on FG, was substituted and never played again. It seemed like KD didn't like that.

Let's move to somewhere in central africa where people die because of the flu and take tylenol for cancer (if they're lucky).
