no one is asking for kids to have jobs.all they want is to be able to sell autograph things,and sign endorsment deals by themselves.it's ok for a coach to do this ,or the school to sell themselves to the highest bidder.when a kid does like pryer how is this wrong.i say good for him,and get as much$ as you can.he is not doing anything coaches,ncaa presidents,a.d.'s or former players are not doing. the fact is he made some cash which any person on this board would have done the same thing. the ncaa wants every dime for themselves.. the ncaa president is making 1 million,and signed a deal for 10.8 billion for b-ball.he said there is no $ for tickets for a parent to see thier kid play one ncaa tourney game is a joke.

let him return kicks,if he can catch the ball we need him as a wr.forget about rb.no sense getting a guy beat up if he can outrun mac db's at wr.

how much slower can our db's get.im sure they will be better than last year since they can't get much worse.

i like playing a tougher occ also.we need to get pt for some of the younger guys. not many mid majors win on the raod against big east teams though. i just know the kd trolls will come out if we lose some of these games.

pryer can make at least 40k by signing stuff plus money in the nfl.why stay in school? not one person on this board would not take 40k if somebody gave it to them at 20 yrs old.they are not breaking any laws.nobody is saying pay the players.they should have the right to sell or autograph things for cash. the ncaa makes 10.8 billion on the ncaa tourney.not 10.8 million.10.8 billion.don't tell me the kids are getting a could deal if they get a piece of paper.

the people who want a tougher schedule will the same ones complaining if we lose most of those games.big zip will be leading the way for a coaching change just like every year..just go back and look at the post from last year when we were under.500.it happens every year.we lose a few mac games,and most fans were questioning every move k.d. made.we need a new coach blah,blah,.you could count on one hand the k.d. supporters at the time.when we won the mac tourney then all the same people were saying how great of a coach he was,or left the board like big zip.

the reason no mac team can compete with bcs schools is $$.i don'tcare who you bring in to run the a.d. dept it does not matter.bcs schools bring in huge dollars with tv deals.the mac tv deal is a joke because no one wants to see mac games.you pack the rubber bowl every game,and it would not matter.most $ is made from tv deals,and the mac tv money is not much.sun belt/mac are really not much more than 1-aa schools playing d-1.

g-man the osu football teams makes enough money to pay for all the other athletes at O.S.U. the girl softball players is getting a full ride because of the football team.everbody says if you don't like don't play by the rules.pryer did not ,and he is 40k richer for it now.plus who knows how much more he can make now on edorsement deals.any kid twenty years old will take 40k.

gp is 100% right about how the ncaa is full of double talk.they make rules the kid cannot make any money at all.yet the head coaches,and ncaa president all are making millons of dollars of these kids. it's ok for a coach to leave for a high paying job,or an a.d. to make at least six figure salaries. as for terrell pryer situaton good for him.take the money,and run.what twenty old kid would not take 40k.99% of the people would take the cash.you are only doing what the a.d.'s, coaches,and ncaa president are doing.they are taking as much money as they can off of youg kids.the ncaa cannnot do anything to pryer to pryer now.i just laugh when people are saying punish pryer. he did not brake any federal laws.there is nothing the ncaa can do him now.he is gone with 40k in his pocket,and i would done the same thing.now he has a chance to make more off endorsements now. he should be happy to get his college paid for? the osu football team makes enough money to pay for all the other sports at o.s.u.if anything he is getting ripped off.if am not saying all the coaches are bad.but most leave the second they get a chance to make more money.they could care less about the kids they are leaving behind.

it's funny about two weeks ago alott of the zip posters threw zeke,and kd under the bus. i told mama zeke not to let it get to her,and things usually havea way of working themselves out. i was surprised by the number of zip fans though at the time stuck up for kd,and zeke.even gp for the most part defended kd. now i don't see those negative posters now? do you think we need a new coach now,and zeke should be benched?where are you guys at now?

not alott of optios when zeke has four fouls,and nik is out.i just don't like when the refs decide games.

the refs might as well give zeke hi 5th foul now also.the rfs pretty much took our two best post plyaers out of the game.what a bunch of b.s.

mommy zeke don't let some people on this board get to you.they forget it's only a game. this is not iraq where our soldiers die every day.people need to get over losing one game,and get a life.my cousin was killed last month in a car crash.she was only 22.i am not asking for people to feel sorry. i am just trying to point out that b-ball is not life, or death that american familes have to face every day.just get over it.

if akron buchtel had a guy who could make extra points they would have been state champs. my point is if you can't make routine normal plays your not going to win games. right now none of our perimter players are shooting well.it's wasting a good effort by zeke,and nik.

how bad is the mac.central beats ou? yahoo had them scoring 84 against ou? i would hate to be the coach at ou now.

if they make two or three more baskets they win.it's that simple.make shots you win.shoot bad,and you lose.

passing the ball into zeke is not going to help if guys can't make open shots.they will just double him all day.the bad thing is none of our perimiter players are making shots.kd can't even sub somebody in becasue they are all shooting bad.

when you shoot 20% from the three line,and 30% from the field your not going to win. you can get the ball into zeke.teams will double team him all day if we can't make an open jump shots.eastern only scored 60 points.when you hold a team to 60 points you should win.

i say get rid of kd,and bring in c.crawford before the season is lost.

so miami of fla,minn,and temple are weaks teams we play in our occ.if kd is not the best coach in the mac then who is? none of the mac teams have done much in the tourney.ou beat gtown last year. this year they are in the tank.

akron fans are amazing.we kept a coach who won one game.kd needs to go.bring in the hip to save the zip season.

teams like osu can have 8 home games because schools like akron need the money to keep the football programs alive.osu makes enough $ on football to pay for all the other non revenue sports at osu.akron football loses money every year.the bottom line the mac will never compete week in week out with the bcs schools.the mac fans hang thier heads on the two or three occ wins a year.they bring up those games every time to point out how the mac can compete with the big schools.they leave out the 30 beatdowns they take every year from bcs schools.when cmu had big dan they were the so called class of the mac.in his carrer at cmu clemson beat them 70-0,and the lost to a 1-aa team one season.i saw them play georgia and get destroyed the next year 52-7.cmu fans forget those games.they will tell you the win over msu though about 100 x.

the main reason for all the trouble is we play in the mac east.look what buffalo did to Can't last night. the east teams just beat eah other up.the good news is we have bg at home.then we start to play the mac west.if we start losing to mac west teams then we are in big trouble.no reason we cannot win three or four in a row against the west to right the ship.
