  1. We've offered Indian Valley 5'9", 200 lb. RB Grady Kinsey. This kid is tough & has a terrific 5-yard burst. Grady scored 5 TD's in this weekend's D4 state championship game, which Indian Valley won. Hudl highlights

  3. The first round is typically an abomination.
  4. Davion Jennings to the portal.
  5. Thanks, @MarkWiley. (I’m out of reactions.)
  6. I thought Kellom was a very good RB w/ plenty of speed, ran north-and-south, savored contact & kept his feet driving through contact & was just coming into his own. I hate to see him go.
  7. Kent State signed Avon's QB. He was a finalist for Mr. Football. Avon won the D2 championship last night. He threw for 1 TD & ran for another. He's pretty tough but I'm not too upset we didn't go after him. Avon also has an OL committed to Cincy. We've been recruiting Avon junior LB Ryan Stolarski. Idk if we've offered yet but he's been on campus.
  8. Last year Terray Jones came in from FCS Tennessee State and was one of the better DT's I've seen at Akron in a while. Plug-n-play.
  9. So the linemen we offer from other G5's probably were either 1) not getting the playing time they wanted at their current school, or 2) are looking to get paid at a bigger school, right? So that means either 1) these guys are bench players, or 2) we don't have much of a shot at them because we don't have any NIL money to offer. Does that scenario sound about right?
  10. "Good luck in your next step." Does this mean Paul Lewis is hitting the TP?
  11. It looks great!
  12. No ESPN+ for this one.
  13. Can't believe how much the TP has taken away from the excitement surrounding Signing Day. For about 30 years this has been like Christmas morning to me but anymore it's meh. Gotta see who we get in the TP who can help us immediately next season. Oh well. Things change.
  14. All 11 of our known verbal commits signed today. No surprise signings.
  15. Who are you referring to, @catdaddyp? I'm guess you're referring to our QB Broughton and one of the OL that you said you wouldn't be surprised if he got some PT next season... but I forget which OL you said that about.
