You guys better watch out; you are going to bring the "stars don't matter" folks out of the wood work with all kinds of exceptions to the rule. An interesting survey, just to gauge the feeling of the zips nation room, would call for a simple yes/no answer to the question "in college football are stars and talent positively related?" My guess would be "yes" will win.

While it's not exactly what Clark wanted, now we can add the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference to the list of conferences from which our new coaching staff cut their coaching teeth. I'm pretty sure if we go back far enough for the rest of the new staff, we could add numerous equally impressive conferences. Somebody get on this asap to help address Clark's concern.

While in a basketball thread some members of Zip nation are predicting a high probability that the Big Dance will be conducted this season. If we get as many withdrawals due to COVID in basketball as has already occurred in this season's football bowl schedule, the Zips may finally secure that long-desired at-large bid.

WKU looked fantastic dismantling Apy State today. The addition of both them and MTSU to the MAC would surely boost the strength of the conference. And did you see the size of that WKU crowd in the stands. I bet they lost less than $400,000 playing that game.
