  1. Ah so he was cleared, and Coach held him out due to lack of preparation, not medical caution. Thanks.
  2. Burden of proof? Are we in a court room? No one wins, we're allowed to have different opinions. There's very few "conspiracy" theorists here.. I'm not into the whole Bowden Ball, reason to start Woodson yadda yadda thing... But I would like to know why Pohl hasn't been playing if he's cleared. Not much to ask.
  3. So one other time.. And he was cleared the night before the game. I don't think that was a medical move moreso than he didn't have prep time.
  4. Whoops
  5. You're missing the point.. If a player broke his leg, and it healed, why hold him out once it's healed? Once concussion-like symptoms are gone (which they must be), a player is cleared. Whether he sits a day after he is cleared, or 5 years, he's just as prone to another concussion. If he was at more risk, they wouldn't clear him.
  6. That is false. Find me another concussion instance where a player was medically cleared, and the coach sat him out anyway.
  7. Unfortunately, I don't think we're playing with our backup. This is bizarre
  8. This is going to be a different game depending on who starts. I think it's relevant.
  9. Thanks CK. Feel like I'm beating a dead horse today but that's a significant more amount of news than the guy that gets paid to write on the Zips has given us.
  10. Fair enough.. Which makes it more mind blowing that our beat writer has nothing for us. It's not like it's our punt returner being replaced, it's the freaking QB, help us out George.
  11. I don't think it's the show's responsibility to ask "tough" questions, per se.. That's on the media. George, what the heck is going on with our QB situation?
  12. I didn't know him, but it's sad news to hear. Sounds like he influenced so many people in a positive way and was a pleasure to be around. RIP, coach.
  13. This is still the best season we've had in 9 years, so far. If you made it through the Ianello years, why jump now?
  14. I think the biggest mistake anyone has made was throwing the ball from our own 30 on the last play of the second half vs. Miami.
  15. Zips 34 BSU 17 Zips bringing the pain today /d1realscout
  16. What theory is this?
  17. There's a simple way to answer this.. Was Pohl in pads on the sidelines?
  18. Pohl saying he's 100%, and doctor's clearing him (which btw, DiG, doesn't mean his symptoms went away Saturday morning - there's a timetable followed and if he's symptom free over that time period, he's cleared) are very different things. As for the Woodson preference, I'm not going down the conspiracy road. I'd say TB probably didn't want to play a QB who didn't have the week of preparation, and he probably had a game plan ready for Tommy.
  19. If the doctors cleared him, he's fit to play. Whether or not he was adequately prepared is a different story, but waiting longer after you're cleared hasn't showed that concussion risk decreases.. If he was cleared, he was 100% symptom free and available. As an aside, I haven't actually read from a credible source that he was actually cleared, did I miss that?
  20. Forgetting Kincade as well. Not that this is a bad problem.
  21. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/puck-daddy/florida-panthers-owners-expect-lower-attendance--for-good-reason-214429811.html
  22. Price isn't keeping people away. The poor product for the past n years is. Your solution is short sighted. Do some research on the Florida Panthers and their discounted/free tickets and what they're doing now to remedy their mistakes.
  23. Sounds like your example is perfect. Once we drop prices, we can't raise them because people expect half off of the product. Thanks.
  24. Agreed. And when people finally want to go, we can't raise the prices and piss everyone off. So we are where we are.
  25. Okay perhaps not dirt cheap, but pretty darn cheap.
