  1. Well I've read that as of now, OSU would be about 1.5 point favorite over Auburn. If I remember correctly, Bama would be favored over anyone. So I would assume just Bama.
  2. A&M's 2011 class was #27 - that was before the announcement. They jumped to #15, then 11, and are now at the third overall class for class of 2014 recruits.
  3. There is a difference between "bragging" about the SEC and stating facts. I hate that conference as much as anyone, but they're the best. Plain and simple.
  4. Along with Texas' stumbles, A&M definitely had some things going right for them on the recruiting trail. Buckzip's point seemed to be that the SEC wasn't that great because mediocre Big 12 teams could come in and win. A&M is ranked 24th, they're hardly dominating anyway. Mizzou took an extra year to compete, finishing with 2 SEC wins last year. Upon further review A&M went 2-2 against ranked SEC teams last year and beat old Big 12 foe OU 41-13 in the Sugar Bowl. So while they had a rough time with good SEC teams, #11 Oklahoma wasn't much of a challenge
  5. I'm speechless. You imply I'm dumb/not understanding something and claim I make a personal attack. Pot calling the kettle black. Anyway, as for the SEC recruiting point I brought up.. Would you not agree the biggest contributors to A&M's win over Bama were freshmen?
  6. Way to stay mature. You do represent the OSU fanbase very well, I will say.
  7. I don't even understand what your point is. You admitted that they're the best conference. So.. They're like really good but not really really good?
  8. Yes that is exactly what I said. However one could make a good argument that yes, the SEC recruits beat Bama as Johnny Football and Mike Evans were Freshmen.
  9. Or maybe going to the SEC helped their recruiting a little bit. Nah..
  10. Didn't say that's why they are no longer a laughing stock. They are no longer a laughingstock because they are playing better football. The points I made are just evidence of not being a joke anymore, not the reasons why. I agree with what you said.
  11. The MAC isn't so much of a laughing stock anymore. Looking like two straight years of BCS bids, and 7 bowl eligible teams two straight years. Multiple teams got votes throughout the year. We aren't that far off from where the MWC was a couple years ago when they were considered the cream of the non-AQ crop and deserving of am automatic BCS bid over the Big East. Gotta keep the momentum up, an NIU bowl win will do a lot for the perception of the conference. Funny how standing pat through the realignment chaos worked out.
  12. Nothing will get you a warm welcome like ripping on our school with your first post.
  13. What ever happened to newzipsfan? I suspect she is thrilled
  14. Whether you play them in conference or out of conference, the strength of schedule is the same. It's a formula. OSU hampers themselves by not scheduling teams but no one should get an "extra" bump on top of the bump that your RPI gets when you play them.
  15. Must have been a pretty dull minute between the first 32 and those last 7
  16. lol'd at the option joke. also the last two years had teams with 6-7 records in bowl games so the meister has a point
  17. It'll be a nice revenge storyline for UM. They will slaughter them
  18. And I think our soccer team has great coaches as well. Surely not "idiots." I think they deserve some more respect after a very good season.
  19. Surprised you aren't a D-1 soccer coach. Heaven forbid someone question a move KD makes..
  20. I would consider winning one of those three to be a success
  21. And tree is back. Rejoice
  22. I'd think that KD wouldn't let him back in right away. You quit on your team, there are consequences regardless of who you are. I'd imagine his message is similar here.
  23. 1.) Both. Before we would have been the Miami/UMass of the league. Now we are beating them. Next step is to beat the Ohio/Buffalos of the league. 2.) Should be 6 wins, especially if we can avoid NIU on the schedule. Every MAC game but them is winnable. 3.) Winners win 4.) Defense, and I think so. TB will have the offense clicking again soon enough, if the D drops off a little bit with the departures of D-linemen, I think the improved offense will make up for it. I'm with GP1, 6~ wins next year, and competing for conference titles after that.
