  1. Great. Right during my scheduled tee time.
  2. Yes. I understand you. They only scored 2 points in a 6 minutes span between the 10th minuet and the 4 minute mark in the 1st. I'm sure that's when you turned it on. Fortunately USC was unable to take advantage. Aaaaand as I type, they are going through another scoreless streak. 8-0 draught, followed up by an 8-0 run. Up and down. ESPN keeps showing the Zips crowd. Looks good. I don't recognize any ZN members yet... Who is #34 for the Zips? I don't remember him.
  3. Nice half. We drew a perfect opponent.
  4. Sounds like good advice. Did they have N'Ice Chouffe on tap? That would be a game changer for me.
  5. "The storm dumped an estimated 220,000 tons of snow on Ralph Wilson Stadium outside Buffalo and left Sunday’s game between the Bills and the New York Jets in doubt. Snow piled halfway to the crossbar in each end zone. The Bills offered $10 an hour and free tickets to the game to anyone who volunteered to shovel out the stadium. The Erie County executive, Mark Poloncarz, said he could not guarantee that the usual complement of law-enforcement officers and emergency vehicles would be available for the game." source Ken+ UB game Tentatively scheduled for Friday at 1 pm
  6. This season schedule is just killing my attendance. I had this last date circled on my calendar since the beginning of the season and planned a trip around it. I'm sure it will get moved, and I won't be able to attend. Boo mother nature. I know you can't control weather, but you live in Buffalo, deal with the consequences and cancel the dumb Ken+ game. 207 fans in Buffalo will be upset. 6 hippies will protest. Don't mess with our rivalry date. Let's go super AD.
  7. Young Trojans favored by 2. Hustlebelt Q&A "USC really needs to work on holding on to the basketball, committing 40 combined turnovers in the first two games. Especially for a young team that features no seniors, just one role-playing junior and two freshmen in the starting lineup, the Trojans' have to play smart. I think we saw the best and worst of what USC can do this season. Andy Enfield's squad can run up and down the floor, but they will always get in their own way."

  9. I got a chance to go see the Cavs play the defending World Champ Spurs last night, thought I would share some photography. Went to Butcher & Brewer on East Ninth before. Nice, but PACKED before a LeBron game. B&B site. 10. I want it for the extra practice time....because we need it.
  11. Cribbs, back in the NFL with the Colts.
  12. Hard to tell, but I wouldn't underestimate the box of cupcakes that is today's MAC.
  13. Must have been painful to watch your favorite NFL team on MNF effectively run it over and over milking the clock and sealing up a victory late in the game. Nothing better when everyone in the stadium knows it's coming, you run it and gain eight yards. Next play, same result. Nothing puts the defense in a defeated state of mind like that play when they know it's coming, and they can do nothing to stop it. The Zips offensive line is light years (well maybe two) away from being able to take charge of a game like that. Random thoughts on the game: • Difference in our offensive game...Zach D'Orazio. Not that he did much different, just the fact that KP16 actually threw him the ball. I have been saying this all year. GET HIM THE BALL. He needs to see 10+ targets a game. He is always open. • UMass is awful. QB was zero threat down field. When that is the case, The Chest ain't getting beat often...see Pitt game. • I could live 100 more years and Whipple could never convince me choosing the wind in the third quarter was a smart choice. Stupid. I feel in someway vindicated for having to watch Akron kick off twice in a game. • I watch NFL holders mishandle snaps on field goals every Sunday. Has Zach ever done that? Kudos to him. If they sold a ZD11 shirt, I would buy it. • I am shocked, and not shocked, our offensive game plan didn't change one bit because of the weather. If you told me before the game this was the case, I would have picked against us. To my credit, I didn't realize how bad UMass is. • I listened to Frenchy while watching the game. I did enjoy Dunn's reports from the sideline, but Frenchy still can't see. A blind French is much more tolerable than Mr Cliche that was on ESPN3. • It's unbelievable to me that this team can become bowl eligible. I hope we do, because it's an accomplishment, and coach seems to value steps in the progrum. • Every time you interview coach Bowden he talks about getting turnovers. He is right, and I love that he emphasizes it. • A few of us have been calling for the Cody Grice up the middle fake, nice to see it attempted. Sad to see a TE try to catch the ball in his chest instead of his hands. Nice execution, and pass by KP16. • I can't believe we didn't give the officials time to call this touchdown a touchdown. Didn't cost us...this time. But in a different situation, this play (and the rushing of the next play call) could be talked about for days. Learn from it, and FIX it!
  14. UMass is turible.
  15. What was worse than the fumble was rushing that play when the previous one was a TD. Staff just had to give refs time to look at it. One of the biggest boneheaded offensive calls I have seen. Pretty obvious on a low res ESPN3 feed. UMass is pathetic.
  16. All you have to do is throw the ball to him. He could have a good week every week. Zach has been our most consistant receiver...given the chance.
  17. AJ makes a call a few of us have been begging for. Fake to Cody, and it results in a touchdown....well it should have been one, except TE tries to catch the ball with his chest.
  18. UMass sucks. We better win.
  19. Any chance they have some talent at offensive skill positions? I know some coaches familiar with the area that can use some on their team
  20. When you lose the potential Mac POY, yes, it hurts the team and it's fans. This should not amaze you yesterday, or today, or even if you copy the same post tomorrow. Will the team rally around this controversy or crumble? Experienced fans (and even unexperienced fans) are going to discuss it even before it has been decided. The effect should come in to focus at the end of January like most seasons. Since there is a history of KD losing top players in his lineup, he does have some experience dealing with the situation. So the Zips have that going for them. At the very least we have a chance to see if, and how the offensive and defensive game plans changes without Tree in the lineup. With this news, that part is interesting to me. Too bad that is not being discussed more. Good luck.
  21. What personnel package will the Zips run the majority of the time? My prediction is based on the answer. Sixteen degrees at kickoff with 15 mph winds. Again I say, make AJ stand down on the field to call plays so he gets a feel for the conditions. This ain't Alabama.
  22. Just made my decision. ESPN3 will televise the game nationally with Michael Reghi calling the action
  23. I would put AJ on the field to call the game. Where's the beef?
  24. Yes, the play calling should have adjusted too. It did not. Hard to fly like an eagle...
  25. If we had half of the talent they have on that side of the ball we could run it all they want. Play is made for when the talent level is so much more skilled on the outside than the opponent. That is pretty far from the case right now. My bubble would have to have air to be "burst."
