  1. Thanks for sharing.
  2. That's great news! I'm looking forward to seeing witnessing it with my own eyes.
  3. I need some proof before I believe that. Can you provide? She lists the Zips as her favorite team (tie with Cavs). Maybe she is paid to put on the Columbus rags?
  4. Outlook...cloudy. SI doing another article on Arian Foster's free tacos.
  5. Congratulations to her, and good luck. The internet is so cool. It might be time ZipsNation gets some "representatives." Maybe plug it on your next interview CK, girls.zipsnation.org?
  6. If Tree plays better than everybody he will win. Hopefully his coach and health give him the opportunity to do so.
  7. EA does a piece on D'Orazio. Professional response. "I didn't say anything inappropriate or rude (to the official), but I did say I thought that was a flag. It's no point arguing with the refs, but I was frustrated, for sure. There's nothing you can do to change it, but Kyle (Pohl) threw a heck of a ball. I know people think he overthrew it, but that ball was in a great spot. I had a chance to get to it, but ... " Nice photo...or terrible...ah, I guess it could be nice and terrible at the same time.
  8. It doesn't look like 1037 The Game has podcasts.
  9. Nice job!
  10. 2 for $20 tickets.
  11. Wouldn't five wins get you in the top 10 to draft one of those "real nice" QBs? Why kick your ticket holders in the gut seven months before you draft one and start over again. Since the Browns are "not going anywhere", why not trade Haden too. Anyone get a mic in front of Bernie yet? Forbes writer questions if the trade had anything to do with Pilot Flying J fiasco?
  12. Thanks for the opinion, I hope your correct.
  13. It was even on CNN's frontpage this morning. I would say it's a correct topic of conversation in town. Everybody slows down to watch the accident on the side of the road.
  14. Note: I made a mistake. I edited in some more stats to my first post after I started this thread. I think the edit somehow cleared the vote back to zeros. I think the vote was 13-3 in favor of the Zips when it cleared. So for a more accurate vote, add those numbers in (your head). Sorry. I'll add my prediction. The one thing the Zips struggled with last week was containing Gardner, he hurt them with his feet. I have never seen Terrance Broadway (Cajun QB) play before, but looking at the stats, he has 31 carries this season. The Zips need to pay closer attention to creating big gaps in the middle of the field when rushing the QB on passing downs. If they are able to do this, and continue the excellent offensive play calling I witness in the Big House, I feel we will be in for an entertaining day. I think this one comes down to a last possession type of game. Zips carry some momentum from the success (other than the scoreboard) they had last Saturday, and pull off a big upset 31-28.
  15. I haven't listened to Cleveland sports talk radio since I got a lifetime subscription to Sirius a decade ago. The whole Couch vs Holcomb debates pushed me over the edge. I never regretted the choice. Sirius is awesome for sports fans. That being said, one of my friends emailed this piece to me, and said this is a MUST listen. He was right. Tony Rizzo puts the Browns trade into "perspective" Classic radio. Turn in your Sunday tickets for Saturday excitement!
  16. Being an eight point underdog, I think the majority of Zip fans would be ecstatic walking out of Infocision with a one point victory. I'm guessing the team and staff would be too.
  17. Hmmmmm.... Kyle Pohl on the pass to set up the final drive ... "It was another great call. Coach did an awesome job today with play calling; he gave me stuff that he knew I would be comfortable with. The preparation this week was good, and I knew we had it as long he ran a good route and I made a good throw it was going to be a good play and he did it. I threw it right to him and it was perfect."Source: from goblue.com I know "coach" can mean anybody on the staff, but I would think you call TB "coach", and AJ "coach Milwee?" Still wondering... I'll pay more attention to the sidelines this week.
  18. Feel free to post your predicted scores and reasoning below. Ragin' Cajuns Trends: playing in September are 7-3 playing on turf are 6-4 playing outside the conference are 5-5 Zips Trends: playing in September are 3-7 playing on turf are 1-9 playing outside the conference are 3-7 Lousisiana-Lafayette is: 30th in the country in rushing yards per game with a 239.3 yds/g 41st in the country averaging 37 points per game
  19. I like how they have white goal posts due to the yellow in the student section. I never noticed that before Saturday.
  20. OU band is at it again. Bobcats get Sport Illustrated Extra Mustard's Band of the Day. While I'm not a band guy, I'll give them some video credit for the multiple cameras used. Marching Band Video Of The Day Last week, we posted Ylvis’ The Fox, a bizarre video and song that went viral to the tune of 31 million views. The Ohio Bobcats band got in on the action at Saturday’s game against Marshall.
  21. @GeorgeThomasABJ wants questions Is AJ Milwee calling all the plays? I think I have seen a steady improvement from the UCF game, and would give credit, but I want to make sure it's correct. Can you ask coach Bowden to expand on the final play? He mentioned in his coaches show that he thought his receiver got held. What was the play call? How did he think it developed? What could have been done better? He mentioned in his show that the team is dangerous passing it down near the goal line and he thought if he had the extra time and four plays, they would have scored (I agree). If so, why the run play on the second to last play? Maybe you guys have some more...
  22. Damn, great idea, I wish that would have worked out. Very nice photos, thanks for taking the time to upload!
  23. Michigan's starting RB carried the ball 19 times and averaged 3.7 yards a carry (18 for 2.6). I can live with that. However, Michigan's QB ran the ball 10 times averaging 10 yards a carry, many on 3rd down, I can't live with that. While there were many missed tackles on those carries, I would think the staff would defend differently if we played them this week. On top of that Gardner is a great runner. So I can still accept those grades. While I haven't studied the tape, kudos to the secondary for the coverage that made Gardner pull the ball down and run. Although with his passing (lack of) skills, that should have been a pretty easy decision. If we complete that last pass, there would be no question on those grades.
