  2. Not worth it's own thread, but another area (Canton) player that is looking to transfer out of the Michigan area is DB Jermaine Edmondson. Wonder if there is interest. Jermaine Edmondson, the Michigan State football player at the center of the Draymond Green assault arrest, is no longer part of the Spartan program. In a press release issued Wednesday night, Michigan State announced that Edmondson has requested and been granted a full release to play his final year of eligibility at a different school. The reason cited for Edmonson's transfer is for increased playing time.
  3. Good moves! Create an atmosphere that fans want to be at. • Parking lots 6, 8, 9 and 10 will open at 6 a.m. on game days, regardless of kickoff times. All other lots will open four hours prior to kickoff • Small gas grills will be permitted in open surface parking lots, and charcoal grills will be allowed in Lots 8, 9, and 10 • Overnight parking, including recreational vehicles, is permitted only in designated parking lots with the prior approval (parking@uakron.edu or 330.972.7213)
  4. Seems like a good thread for a poll. Do bowl games count? I'm assuming so since you didn't type "regular season." I'm full of optimism as well, I'll go over, and hope that we can stay healthy at key positions.

  9. What operating system, and what browser are you using? I can't duplicate your issue. I posted on the basketball board yesterday, and posted on the soccer board today. Could it be on your end? Try a different browser. Clear your history and cookies, reboot. If your on a PC, you might have a virus. Do you use antivirus software? If it's a Windows environment, some other members may be able to help you more effectively.

Speakers will include University of Akron basketball coach Keith Dambrot (who coached James at St. V-M) and James’ former high school teammate Willie McGee, who now serves as athletic director at the school.   15. Akron mayor releases details on Thursday LeBron James celebration. The City of Akron and the LeBron James Family Foundation will host a celebration for Akron's own LeBron James Thursday at Lock 3. Gates will open at 7 p.m. James and his students from Wheels for Education and IPromise Network will be featured. Admission to the event and parking downtown will be free The city plans to rent giant screens, bring in water, and pay for security for the event, which Mayor Dan Horrigan states will could cost at least $50,000. However, multiple companies in Akron have donated money to offset that cost. Horrigan estimates 7,000 people can fit in Lock 3 and 3,000 can fit outside the fence.
  16. Woodson was named preseason fourth-team all mac for fans that like that sort of thing. I prefer that he quarterbacked the Zips to a bowl victory. I'm hoping for another one this year.
