That's not only a reflection on OU's budget problems but their administration's disinterest in athletics. As far as athletic funding goes, Akron and OU and heading in two very different directions.

And this is why Akron basketball is so unique. Not many division 1 schools in the country would allow something like that to happen.God Bless the University of Akron and everyone a part of it!

Wasn't sure where to post this, but it seems that the MAC championship has garnered some respect from some of our most heated rivals..check this out; its a straight discussion from a couple users on bobcatattack. Can't say I'd disagree . I just thought I'd do classy thing and immediately blame a rivals obvious respect on some sort of inferiority complex. Because that's what champions do, right? And as for Ohio University...it's all hype. I've been to OU(I have friends there) and it's not as crazy as students there would make you think.
