Being that there isn't a team north of the mason-dixon line, I think they've already determined that weather isn't okay up here. Salt Lake is the only one somewhat comparable to our weather, but there is really not a comparison.

Had no clue Antino was there. Thats pretty awesome!
-
I thought he came back in the game.

Interesting follow up. i can think of only 3 guys signing - Connolly, McDonald, and Hilton. We kept Uran. What we may have thought would've been TB's best class yet could have been just another dud full of non-qualifiers/one offers. Players like Hill, Martin, Wilson, and Reese who had multiple other offers signed JUCO or not at all.

Kent State sucks! Finally shot the ball decent tonight and we kicked some a$$. We can compete with anyone in conference if we play like this. Buffalo up next. Go Zips!
-
Kent State's center looks like Joel Embiid

Really nice 1st half by Cheese. Feel like we need more out of just about everyone else.
-
We are much better when we push the pace on offense.

giving cant too many 2nd chances

The JAR is rocking tonight. I've missed games with this atmosphere. Let's go Zips!

Same injury 2 years in a row?! Had to have happened at practice. Didn't notice anything last game.

Here's your DC. I think OC is what has not been announced. https://gozips.com/coaches.aspx?rc=601&path=football

well i guess I can't say I've seen anything official, but Feeney ran it last year at UT-C and we seemed to heavily concentrate on DE's/OLBs. Just putting 2 and 2 together.

I'm by no means an x and o's expert, but I actually found some games and watched part of one (vs Wofford in 2018) on Youtube the other evening. Look for similar personnel packages as what MIlwee ran. Mostly (and potentially all) out of shotgun. I noticed some QB runs, which were more power-oriented. I did notice more motion which was probably the difference that stuck out the most. Keep in mind Arth was only at Chat for 2 seasons, so likely never really was able to obtain/develop talent to run an offense exactly how he'd like, but maybe he did. Best bet would be to look at JCU, but good luck finding any of those games. Defense will be 3-4.

Should note we already have a big and talented S from Penn Hills on the team in Shawn Featherstone.

Yessir. I actually did it last night, but I haven't added the new walk-ons yet. The "few extra" scholarships comment Cap'n referenced caught my eye as well as the only "5 DBs on scholly" comment. What I have shows otherwise and actually shows we are completely full on schollies. Now obviously there are some things we don't know in regards to the extra scholarships. I.E. maybe Denzel Butler did transfer out of the program, Featherstone decided not to use his med redhsirt, the new freshman punter will be the only on on scholly, etc. Same goes with the DB comment. Does he include players listed on the roster as CB and S in that comment? Even if he doesn't I count 7. If you want to exclude Butler and somebody else, then we are down to 5. But that doesn't include "CB" and "S", so that situation isn't as bad as it looks, though I do agree if Butler is gone then we are very thin with players that actually play CB. 2019 February National Signing Day

I really would have liked Jaylin Bannerman, but he was released from UMASS after signing LOI, we didn't offer him per 247, and he didn't sign anywhere today. Has to be something going on there. -

I think they envision Bryce Wilson (275) filling that role. Switching to the 3-4, we need more DEs/LBs and they definitely seemed to emphasize that. -

So I went through and used the class calculator for 247 and corrected things based on how they presently are now. Note that this doesn't include Demetrick Watts (no profile), Kevin Walls (no profile), and Adetutu (counted towards last years class even though he shouldn't have), so the score is slightly understated. We should have a class score of 123.17, good enough for national overall of 120. Ironically enough, what we perceived to be Bowden's best class last year, was ranked 120th overall and only had a score of 114. That class also ended up having 3 non-qualifers in it. Prior to last year, TB never even had a score above 100...and he always had players who ended up being non-qualifers, so even those were inflated. I think its safe to say Arth and Co have done a heck of a job, considering history AND considering the circumstances of a short recruiting season. -

And was technically a Bowden recruit (and non-qualifer) last year. Nice job of the staff to keep him. Need to get players from ST. A. -
Well that'll be all she wrote. Horrid first half and seemingly running out of gas in the 2nd was the difference. Seems like we really only have a 7 man rotation, with Poke and Banks the main subs.

These announcers are the worst.
