  1. Why do we foul so damn much?!
  2. lol...poor band member got laid out. Mark already has 2 fouls 1:32 in..sheesh!
  3. Let's go boys. Need a big game from 2 of Utomi/Ivey/Duvivier.
  4. SUNY Canada. That's the first I've heard of that one.
  5. Okay...I had to to do the math: Early signing period: Eric Bentley Gavin Blunt Daishawn Brimage Reggie Corner Devanier Floyd Vincent Fonte Rich Hall Logan Hawkins Jalen Hooks RJ Kelly Ben Phillis Keyondre White Should sign tomorrow: Landon Forman Adetutu Daranijo Treon Sibley Bryce Peterson Tim Scippio I count 17 right there with 8 local guys (9 if you count hooks). You could throw in Te'Corey Tutson even though we haven't heard much. Arslanian wasn't announced last year I don't beleive, so maybe he is one (and could qualify as "local"). Maybe you could count McGriff in Wolfley since they haven't been "announced". Even with all of these assumptions, we would be looking at 21 signees with at most 10 being local. We should be in for a few surprises tomorrow if that article is right.....
  6. This article caught my eye this morning. It says we will add 13 newcomers Wedsnesday. 11 of the 25 total newcomers are local kids. Anyone want to do some math?!? I didn't think we had near that much room, even if you were counting transfers like McGriff and Wolfley. http://www.cantonrep.com/sports/20180205/terry-bowdens-next-challenge-lifting-akron-up-one-more-level
  7. Have to imagine it is in reference to this: Apparently 4 d1 offers, but I only have found Akron and UAB so far.
  8. Not bobblehead, but I'd be willing to buy a set of coasters from anyone willing to sell.
  9. Wanted to hit on two points on this post: 1st - I noticed Tim Scippio (early commit and currently unsigned) congratulating players for committing. Based on that I would count him in to sign next week. 2nd - I'm still worried about not bringing in a scholly QB (at least of yet) in this class. Lack of depth could realistically end up being a problem once again after next season. It's probably more likely than not Kato leaves sometime in his career if his dad has any say. Kelley seems like a nice back up based on what I've seen, but is gone after next season. Johns has 2 more years, but one would think he came here to play. Not only did he not play, he switched positions. After next season, it's very possible Ramart could be the starter with a true freshman as his back up.
  10. Brady threw for 505 yards, 3TDs, and 0 INTs. Hella credit to Foles, but this loss was on the Pats D. Did Malcolm Butler ever end up playing a defensive snap?? I wonder what that was about. Seems like the first time a move made by the Hoody came back to bite him.
  11. JT is a coach at Saint Thomas Aquinas. I'm not sure if you are familiar or not, but they are probably without a doubt a top 3 high school program in the country.
  12. Awesome! 2 good safeties from STA in the past 2 years now. Not sure why 247 is showing him as a Toledo commit as of today...
  13. Thanks for the update. I thought we were losing Letuli to graduation though? He is listed as a SR on Gozips.com
  14. can't get a damn call.
  15. Don't think we've had a game this year where Duvivier, Ivey, and Utomi were all on their A (or B ) game.
  16. Some great hustle plays by Mark and Smith.
  17. I wish Utomi could shoot like this on the road.
  18. Glaring size issue without Mark in there.
  19. any idea of who is on campus for 2018?
  20. credit where it's due...good stuff.
  21. Also a cheater, if I am not mistaken.
  22. I get it, I really do from a financial standpoint. I hope it isn't being enforced for the actual revenue generating sports that the majority care about. Talk about a competitive disadvantage not letting the coaches do their thing. I would think this will hamstring the U from getting the best coach they otherwise could when the times comes.
  23. Do you have an idea of what the pay is now?
  24. Skip, are you purchasing season tickets next year?
  25. I cant remember if we offered William Collier or not, but per both his and Ramon Fields' twitter, they've committed to Highland Community College, presumably for failing to qualify academically for D1.
