Its really not that complicated if you have a basic understanding of the system (the problem is most people don't). The taxes are still getting paid somewhere along the line.

Seems like its strictly a PR move. Doubt they will have to pay a dime in tax with distributions to teams. A plus is that Goodell won't have to disclose his salary anymore.

If that's who we end up playing, and as a complainer of the schedule for years, I have to say great job Coach Dambrot. The opportunity to play both seems almost too good to be true, but time will tell I guess.

Ha. Just saw this. Surprised I made the cut.

My argument is that there isn't much value in being named "winner" of the tournament. The value is in playing and having a chance to beat big name opponents. I'm confident that nobody on this board knows the winner of this last season without looking it up, because all it is is another early season tourney. Come tourney selection time, nobody is going to care that Villanova won the Preseason NIT, but they would care if we had a win over Nova. I'm pretty sure we have never beaten a top 25 team, so us winning anything would be a complete long shot. Even if we don't win any it would be great experience to prepare us for the tourney if we make it.

Its not just in college. Everyone knows Jim Brown is a piece of shit. A lot of people don't like him.

I do not see any way he would be eligible this season unless he graduated. If someone knows something I don't please enlighten me. I know what the OK St guy said, but articles are saying he will have to sit out. edit: after some searching it looks like he went to Garden City Juco after being kicked off of OSU. So you'd assume he would be eligible, but the article I read was dated in December. Not a whole year...

Disgusting for sure and embarrassing. However, he wouldn't be the 1st player Bowden has brought in with similar issues (see Chapman). He has been punished and all we can really do is hope he learned his lesson. I have to defer to TB's judgement due to the fact that all of his 2nd chance guys have stayed out of trouble.

I also don't see Lane??? Tyler Fitzpatrick is interesting to me. But really only because I happened to play against him in high school. He is a transfer from Edinboro. Great size, but I wouldn't expect much out of him. Walk on I'd guess.

I mean I'll agree with you if you can provide a reasonable explanation as to why presently students would pay nearly 4x as much to attend UA rather than a community college if their plans are just to transfer somewhere else. Doesn't make any sense to me and I haven't seen it from my experience. I'd say it depends on major, but UA has done very well for me.

1 of Bowden's proclaimed 5 or 6 transfers this summer. If you're an RB with an offer from Bama, you're most likely a great talent.

As far as I remember, Martel wasn't even a starter for the Zips. However, if he gets drafted or even signed, then props to him. With Ike and Troy retiring, they need all the help they can get. As much as I hate Pitt, I feel if they shored up their CB positions, they would have been much better in previous years. I don't understand the neglect.
