In your opinion, what should the whole depth chart look like? By what you are throwing around, it seems somebody will be left out. Harney is a starter at the 3. With you thinking Gladden will back up Reggie..it looks like Nyles Evans or Melo will be left out.

So whats the status on Dri Archer? I've lost track, but know he has battled injuries earlier in the season. Do we have any significant injuries from last week?

Of course you think that. Your opinion of Tressel becoming the next President is well documented on here. I've heard first hand from a former Dean of one of the best colleges the campus has, and he believes that choosing the next President will have less to do with academic accolades (ex. Proenza research background) and more to do with a recognizable face of the University capable of raising money. He seemed to believe that a not having a doctorate wasn't an issue, either. I asked specifically about Tressel. He never gave a clear answer, but everything he brought up leads me to think Tressel. JMO. Also, no disrespect to Proenza, but what academic prestige does UA have as a whole? Many outsiders and even insiders still consider UA a community college. Now, we have some GREAT individual programs that most outsiders aren't aware of, but our overall image still leaves much to be desired. Tressel is a great leader and person (save the one screw up rebuttal, please). I feel he would be a great representative for our University.

Besides the grown men dressing like idiots, which I hate, its culture and tradition. Something Akron (unfortunately) and Wake Forest (nice choke, by the way) know nothing about in football. Your wife also doesnt know anything about football. There is no phoniness around it. Its hard to understand if you have no familiarity, though. Any other University in Ohio or even most of the country wish their football program and support for athletics were half of what OSU's is.

Well considering Buffao has beaten us 3 of the past 4 times (the only loss was them blowing a 20 something point lead), I sure as hell hope they aren't better after he leaves. Love him or hate him, he dropped 26 points on Tree last year. Let's not let our bias get in the way of facts. As of right now, McRea is a better player, and that isnt a knock on Tree at all. Being dirty doesnt have anything to do with the athletic ability of McRea.

I saw him around some during later in the summer. Not sure if he still is.
