doesnt UofA have some sort of football deal with 106.9? I'm sure they pay something for it, i would like them to pay something to get basketball on there as well. We could use a strong signaled radio station for bball.

The point is, it's not important if OSU already does it. Doing script lettering like that looks cool and i guarantee the Suckeyes aren't the only ones anyways. What's wrong with continueing/starting our own little tradition?

OSU is a Michigan ripoff...who cares. Having a band in general is a ripoff to whoever started it. It's cool and the only team i know of that did a script "ZIPS".

I wouldn't get too worried yet. Yes we did not look great but still it's an exhibition game. One thing i liked was Chris McKnight down low. He looked smooth and quick to the basket. Regardless of if we win 15 games or 20+ games this year, this program is heading in the right direction. We have lots of young talent and plenty more on the way. There should be no worries in where KD is taking this program.

Oh i was totally being sarcastic. I figured someone else would say it seriously though. I have learned from my mistakes of scheduling fall classes at night just for that reason. I have had to miss a few games in the past (not to mention a few classes ). Of course school is way more important than football, though i guess it's a fair argument to say that missing one class to be able to say that you went to the last game at a legendary stadium is alright. Point is, it sucks if you have class that night.Really though, if it came down to the last game at the rubber bowl or a class where I have a test, I would be honest with that professor and let him know that going to that last game means alot to me and see if i could take the test at another time. I'm sure he would understand....unless he truly was a Can't stater

If there is ever an excuse to skip class, there is no better than the last game EVER at the Rubber Bowl. If there is anyone who is a Zips fan who is not at this game (and has a means to get there) they are a disgrace.A disgrace? I'm sure professors find a football game as a legit excuse to miss a class, but not on an exam date. Graduate or watch a football game? hmm, I'll pick graduate.Your professor must be a Can't State graduate if he has a test scheduled for the day of a football game and at the same time. Shouldnt we want Indiana to win. Who cares about the MAC beating a Big 10 school unless WE are the MAC school winning.Indiana comes to town to open up the Info next season, it would be nice to open it up with a win over a BOWL team.

maybe the results are hard to read but by looking at them i see 7-4 Zips, winning out to end the season.But in standings it says we were 5-6. hmm

so i think it's safe to say that JD does not have anywhere near the love from the fans that Zippy has.

Willoughby is closer to 45-50. I grew up in Painesville, east of there and it takes me an hour to visit family.**and Muncie is only about 5 hours from Willoughby

im getting quite sick of people claiming this, when i go to games, the people who are listening to the suckeyes on the radio while tailgating are the Alumni and NOT the students.I just dont see this huge love for OSWHO.It's there but not as much as you claim.

Hey now, i take offense to that. The reason that many students/Rowdies were not there tonight was because most people were observing Halloween tonight. Whether it be (God forbid) going to Can't for it or just around Akron. That's why the crowd was small.Oh for Pete's sake. Aren't you kids a bit old for "Trick or Treat"? Wait, did you say that the town folks were giving away free beer up in Cant Town?Well i would say that Beer is what Halloween is about and not Candy if that answers your question.

I don't think we will lose that game either. Even without the support of a packed house, i think the ghosts of the rubber bowl will band together and push JD and the team through the goalline a few times extra that night.
