Unless they want to fire him anyways (possibility), then I doubt they will do anything. There's a double-standard with these things you know. By the way, I'd say about 75% of CMU fans don't like Ernie Zeigler. According to one poster on that forum, in his five years, he has not had one player play four straight years in his program. They are using that as an example of how grating he is.

I'm a hardcore fan and I like ROOligans. Well don't worry, it's still in the chase. And we have weeded out the ones that no one is crazy about and narrowed it to five names. I'm going to do an official poll really soon. And that will decide it...period! lol

Oh don't worry, we still haven't decided. The big problem is, though around half of everyone likes "Rooligans", half of the people (1/4 overall) that don't like it, HATE IT. So I don't want a name that turns away the hardcore socccer fans, because those are the people that will make this group. So basically, taking a little longer to decide than expected.

It may look that way at times because Zeke tends to overtly beat himself up on the court after every little incident he perceives as being an error on his part. I think he enjoys playing, but can't stand making mistakes. That attitude may make him more tense and wound up as the game goes on, which only leads to more errors. While some players might benefit from being a little more serious and less loose, Zeke is not one of them. I think Zeke would benefit by learning to quickly let loose of mistakes and adopt the attitude that he's going to make more great plays than mistakes, so the mistakes aren't worth distracting him from making a great play the next time the ball comes his way. After the game, Zeke can talk to the coaches about mistakes he made during the game and how he wants to learn to correct them during training and scrimmages. I agree completely about Zeke. It's much like hitting in baseball. If you beat yourself up every time you get out, you will be a stressed, mess of a person. And baseball is an extreme example because in baseball you can fail 70% of the time and still be a Hall of Famer. Keith Dambrot, being a baseball guy, should be able to help Zeke with such an example.

Btw a porter is also "One in charge of a gate or door." Which in our case, Akron is a revolving door to the pros, with Caleb being the porter.

Good article, but once again "What is it about Akron, and more specifically, Porter, that makes that small school a factory of top-flight soccer talent?". What the heck does the small school comment mean? It means the writer really knows very little about Akron. At the very least, I think he likely meant "less well known" school or something like that. But small school? That makes no sense. Yeah 30,000 students is "small" alright.
