When i first brought this idea up on facebook, someone mentioned RCRooligans but it was shot down for that exact reason.

Don't worry, we are taking the total "rooligan" votes into consideration. I just wanted to see which one people liked more.

Sadly accurate statement. Our baseball facility is not a college facility. It is not an NAIA D-II nor an NCAA D-III facility, let alone at all acceptable for the NCAA D-I level. I don't know how we recruit anyone for baseball. Incompetence and bad facilities won't get any big recruits. Ianello and Bangston are the leaders for "worst coach at UA"

The Zips definitely had their defense down a little better tonight. The O wasn't there but that's alright. Though one guard for them had a career night, scoring above his average, they still played pretty well. And another thing, Mike Bardo played his ass off in his little amount of minutes. I know people knock on him a lot but he really earns his minutes. Let's run the table the rest of the way and i'll be happy.

Yeah I've seen GSH (anyone who hasn't should go watch it immediately, it's awesome) but a hooligan is someone that essentially starts fights with other groups. I don't think we are going for that (unless Can't brings back their soccer program ). But seriously, I like Exchange Street Elite a lot, and my second pick is Parry's Army. I'm a huge fan of it, with the program founder being Stu Parry. I think it makes a bit more "menacing" and also is a good homage to the tradition. Rooligans is my gf's idea for a name. I like it but it would have to be Akron Rooligans or something adding another word to it, it's gotta have at least two words to be a good supporters' group name i think. I should have added a poll to this, maybe i will once someone comes up with a set name involving "rooligans" to put up against the other names.

but i'm not quitting. I'm so gun ho for this team that I should be on the #1 fan list. I just don't see why Dambrot gets a free pass when he refuses to make blatantly obvious adjustments and his teams continually under perform.
