  1. I agree. I feel like this would be a wasted scholarship, but I hope I'm wrong.
  2. Looks good at stuffing the run. Seems to read plays well and has decent speed also.
  3. That's exactly what I was thinking!
  4. I really like what I see on Glover. I think with a couple years of coaching by Amato, this kid could be great! Also, aside from his big hitting capability, he actually knows how to wrap and tackle.
  5. I'm hoping 8-5 counting a Bowl win. So even with that I guess I'm under. VMI - W Wisconsin - L Marshall - W App St. - L Kent - W Miami - W WMU - L BSU - W Buffalo - W Toledo - L BG - L Ohio - W
  6. My order of preference on who I hope we can land is King, Corner, Bridges and Vantrease.
  7. Looks like he has pretty good hands.
  8. He's good at finding the creases and running hard through them and he doesn't seem to go down easily. I like what I see.
  9. Looks like a great addition!
  10. I'm 100% sure he will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I agree, he may not be a first ballot Hall of Famer, but he will definitely be in there soon.
  11. Strong leg...I like what I see. Can't wait to see him kick a game winning field goal!
  12. I read this article earlier, but wasn't able to put it on ZipsNation at the time. Great article. Funny how their relationship never came up before considering Benjamin was playing for the Browns.
  13. The Steelers do love to draft MAC players.
  14. Yes, I remember watching John Mackey and I agree, he was fun to watch. He was listed as "Rover".
  15. Round #3 I feel like it could be any one of four teams. Indianapolis, Baltimore, New Orleans or Jacksonville. I'm mostly leaning toward Indy because they need both an Outside Linebacker and Free Safety. Considering that a lot of NFL teams aren't sold on Jatavis being a true LB due to his size, many think of him as a possible Safety which means Indy could do some experimenting.
  16. Thanks. I missed seeing that before.
  17. Two things I notice when I look at the way they split the roster. First, it could be me, but I didn't see Pittman on either side. Is he hurt? Second, I feel that the Blue Team is geared more toward offense and the White Team toward defense. Should be interesting.
  18. Two things: 1. I can't believe Dayton is so high ranked #24! 2. Kent is near the bottom at #170!
  19. Villanova plays a similar style to the Zips, in that, they are a team of good players who know how to play as "a team". No real superstar. They also focus on good team defense like the Zips as well. This win shows that our style of basketball, with no individual star players and good defensive play, can win at any level.
  20. Considering that it looks like both are from Oregon, I'm thinking our Potato Bowl win in neighboring Idaho may have played a part in their interest.
  21. Something I don't like after reading the Miami Herald article is that it seems that he has a propensity to transfer. Three different high schools? Makes me a bit nervous and I hope he doesn't continue that trend in college.
  22. I am hoping Villanova wins the whole tournament. I guess I'm kind of thinking the same way you're thinking.
  23. Great pics! You managed to get the one where Big Dog got called for an offensive foul on the obvious flop by the OSU defender.
  24. Seems like a player we would pursue, but I haven't heard anything. Odd that we wouldn't be looking at him.
  25. I'm going to miss the hard work, dedication and 3 pointers by Kretzer and McAdams, but I like that we are going to be a more "athletic" team moving forward. As far as Forsythe, I felt like he didn't really live up to expectations. I liked the guy, but I just felt he wasn't aggressive enough by not finishing hard at the rim offensively.
