How do you lose to NIU? I can understand in football, but never basketball!

I'm still annoyed about them losing to YSU a few weeks back.

The sad part is he was the only WR I felt would actually make the catch if thrown his way.

If Pohl is our starting QB again this year we are in trouble. Don't expect anymore wins than what we've been getting the past couple seasons. If we want a better team, we need a leader that can make the correct decisions and be consistent.

I totally agree with the first five. Ritz has great footwork as a lineman. Kincade's video didn't show much, but from everything that's been mentioned about him be should be very good. The last five in your list are all a coin toss.

One advantage we have is that we are pretty local to the State Championship game venues. I would think that we would have scouts at all of the Championship games for sure. I watched bits of a few games and saw a lot of nice players. I don't remember any names, but DII Loveland had a freshman who ran for 175 yards against Glenville. I would take a look at those lineman for sure. If a freshman can run all over Glenville, they obviously have an outstanding line.

Their forum sounds an awful lot like ours with some of the stupid arguments back and forth on non-sense focused on a word or two used by someone. I thought it was comical. The talk about their marketing department sounded very familiar.

I tell my son all the time how important defense is in basketball (all sports for that matter). He is good at it, but thinks that since he isn't the best ball handler or shooter that he shouldn't try out for a travel team or other teams because the other players are better at scoring. I think most people think that way and it's hard to get them to understand.

I think maybe half the people get that Zipmeister. LOL

If we don't beat a 1AA school, or whatever its called now, by at least 17 points we are in some serious trouble.

It is becoming very obvious that Tree is the key to our success. He got into early foul trouble and missed the majority of the middle part of the game. Interestingly, that is the same time we were in our slump...coincidence? I don't think so. Tree is definitely becoming our best player.

This kid is a nice find. He not only has the moves and speed, but has excellent strength and balance. We need all of that!

PAYDAY. He is going from about $300k to around $1.8 million. Bad choice as far as job goes with all the openings available.

I'm surprised we haven't offered Dante Booker from St. Vincent-St. Mary. Probably a long shot, but still worth trying!

Hopefully Forsythe is Bardo 2.0 this season If this happens, consider it a wasted scholarship. I'm sorry, Bardo was a good kid and all, but I would cringe everytime he stepped on the floor. I knew we would have no offense for that time period. We're trying to move forward, not backward.

I was at the game as well. You are correct Captain, we were up 9-7. I remember thinking...I better take a picture of the scoreboard. I could hardly believe it. It is a great football atmosphere and stadium.

Even if the NCAA can't do anything, the Big Ten should give them the boot. I think all D1 conferences should shun them and relegate them to a lower level of play.
