What happened to Tavari's game?  He looked so good and now he looks hesitant and I have counted at least 4 turnovers and no points.  The Zips need another scorer.  When X is off and Freeman is getting double teamed we need some scoring besides Hankerson.  Tribble is hesitant to shoot and this is just ugly.

The first couple of games the teams had no idea about him. Nate can be a 4th option on the floor if he steps up a little

This is probably true with a lot of shooters, but Hankerson is a much better shooter when squares himself to the basket and doesn't rush his shot.

Sammy Hunter just shot a three and held his hand up posing.  The ball is short and comes right back to him but he is so busy posing he does not go for the rebound.  Back to the bench for Sammy.  Why would a guy who is shooting 20% from 3 point land pose like he made a three.  There is an 80% chance it is going back into play.  Go for the rebound!!!!

Tavari played a lot of hero ball in Peoria. He may have been told to dial it back.

As I recall, Rahama started at Virginia Tech.  Lord knows how he ended up at Concord.

By no means a pretty win, but they played better down the stretch to put this one away.

The second half bought them some props. Overall not real pretty, but could have been much worse. X in a bit of a funk, Rique struggled to his scoring total, he usually doesn’t struggle against a matchup like that. Tavari was brutal, lots of silly passes. Nate Johnson came to play after a horrendous showing in Peoria. If these guys struggle on open looks like this throughout MAC play, they will be average. But the offense itself works alright, just not a good shooting team which is very frustrating. 
 

Now the fun begins. Bring on NIU.
