37-30 at the half.

Some sloppy, cardinal sin turnovers (trying to go over the top of defenders with passes, etc.). A decent amount of missed jump shots. Good defensive effort and we are certainly athletic. All in all, this is fun to watch.

The Puerto Rican team (Guaynabo All Stars) is pretty solid. They can shoot, have decent size, and are also athletic. Good test as the chemistry is built before classes even start.

Shammah Scott had a rough first half... but didn't look at all out of his depth. He looked fine. Shots just weren't falling & made a couple bad passes... which could be simply the result of not yet having developed chemistry.

Tavari is #2 PG. Looks like Thornton is the odd man out @ PG early in the season.  (I'm still not a huge fan of Tribble running the point... lots of empty minutes from Greg.)

Baker is big!  He moves well too. He looks like he's going to be a good one.

Did Nate Johnson have 3 threes that first half?  If so, watch out world!

The gym is sweet. Could you imagine the JAR with that layout, packed?

I was just thinking the same. I googled Guaynabo City Arena & it has a capacity of 5,500.

He looks like the real deal!

💯💯 (out of Likes)

I'd like to know how many rebounds he finished with. He was hanging right in there, & that Puerto Rican team wasn't half bad.

No Thornton, Marvin, or Prather so far today

Must have some small injuries. I don’t think we’ll see much more of Dawson in this thing either, they’re still easing him into the swing of things.
