Let'sGoZips94 Posted August 15, 2023 Report Share Posted August 15, 2023 37-30 at the half. Some sloppy, cardinal sin turnovers (trying to go over the top of defenders with passes, etc.). A decent amount of missed jump shots. Good defensive effort and we are certainly athletic. All in all, this is fun to watch. The Puerto Rican team (Guaynabo All Stars) is pretty solid. Blue & Gold Posted August 15, 2023 Report Share Posted August 15, 2023 Shammah Scott had a rough first half... but didn't look at all out of his depth. He looked fine. Shots just weren't falling & made a couple bad passes... which could be simply the result of not yet having developed chemistry. Tavari is #2 PG. Looks like Thornton is the odd man out @ PG early in the season. (I'm still not a huge fan of Tribble running the point... lots of empty minutes from Greg.) Baker is big! He moves well too.
