The UMass poster (Steve) who occasionally drops in here mentioned that the UMass collective has different tiers and that entry starts as low as $10/mo. If Akron had something like that, I wouldn't be opposed to contributing. Obviously it doesn't amount to much unless you have several very large donors or thousands of small ones.

Likewise here on donating!

If I'm using my trusty calculator correctly, 39 transfers equals 25% of the MAC scholarships from last year are in the portal. Ugh!!

Maybe close to 50% new faces once you factor in graduates...

This is ridiculous.  Is this what's it going to look like every year?!

Don't care about the look, I'd love to see Agee land here.

Agee's a stud.

I also like the big from NIU, Klaus Schwab Niedenhouser von Trapp or something.

I'd LOVE to see SDSU's William Kyle III in the blue & gold.  I've been following him all week seeing if he'd enter and today he did. 🙏🙏🙏

NIU's Coit still not in the portal. I wanna see another LCJIII/X2.0-esque PG running the show.

But I do get not wanting to poach from our own conference. Given the choice I would prefer to not cannibalize the MAC.  Hopefully everyone in the conference (excluding KSUcks) can land some nice, exciting-to-watch talent.

Fixed that last line for you!🏀

I hope none of the MAC transfers land in Akron. It’s a bad look.

I just want the Zips to win. Groce can bring in anyone he wants regardless of school or conference.

Toledo and Kent have no problem doing it. It wouldn't make sense to handicap ourselves against our competition.

These players are already in the portal. If a MAC team doesn't take the good ones, they go to a different conference. How is that cannibalizing the MAC?
