72 Roo Posted June 13 Report Posted June 13 That explains why I'm not up to speed on the Summit Circle. I chose not to join X when it benefits a self-absorbed billionaire like Musk. 2 Quote

Either that or it is one of the all-time troll posts in ZN.o history! Please elaborate for us? Which parts have holes? Am I making up the womens soccer coach was a disaster? The football team is a mess? The track team are only winning conference titles because there's only 4 teams? Where's the holes in the coaches contracts? I think the hole is in the fact he would not allow coaches to tell the public about their extensions. Pathetic! Quote

I think you are confusing the powers of the athletic director with those of the trustees and university president. Parking? Dorms? Paul Hammond retired after a long career. Anne Jorgensen did not work for the athletic department. When she retired, she was the director of student success. Those contract extensions are public record. Would have rather those coaches not be extended? The womens soccer program has been a disaster for at least 10 years. This coach was a winner everywhere she went prior to Akron. I guess she was guilty of trying too hard to turn the program around. Do I need to keep going? Football! Lol Btw, I really like your screen name. Very imaginative! 1 1 Quote

Lol Btw, I really like your screen name. Very imaginative! Paul Hammond was pushed out. His exit "party" he made that very clear. Want to know how much he was pushed.... he applied for Charles job when he finally left. Doesnt sound like he was too please "retiring". With regards Anne, she worked in athletics until Charles pushed her out of it. An terrible decision as confirmed by student athletes letters and emails to the administration after the decision. Again, she would be back in a heartbeat if there was a job available for her. Contract extensions may be public knowledge to those who know how to get them, but no posts online from athletics social media because Charles said not to. The womens soccer coach was a winner at D3. Dont fool yourself. Akron athletics is miles off D3. She recruited D3 athletes and got D3 results - at Akron. All that while being a terrible person. Great hire Charles!!!!! If you are Charles agent - thank you for getting him the move. We all appreciate it. 2 Quote
