We had an obnoxious Kent State fan in front of us rooting for Miami who about 8 minutes on said it was over. As the clock expired I leaned in, grabbed him by the shoulder, and said "I thought you said it was over about an hour and a half ago." Was anybody else having nightmares when the Miami player hoisted a prayer from beyond half court? Now lets win our first NCAA game. Indeed, great, great defense by Tavari. Amani with the monster rebound and outlet pass. And finally Nate keeping his composure to not only hit the runner, but also making sure he didn’t foul on that final heave. I’m still amazed. This was me, except surrounded by Miami fans. I told them they were soft, that the floor mopper was going to tear a tricep with all the work he had to do from their flopping, and that they wouldn't shoot 75% for the game. Miami fan told me to get used to it, and I told him I’m used to being at the championship game, but they only show up once a decade. And that their wives all have plastic surgery. And that it’s going to be a long lonely private jet flight back to Miami. Great outlet pass for the game winner. Incredible poise and determination by the team in the second half. They took the best punch Miami had and recovered.
