Let'sGoZips94 Posted December 11 Report Posted December 11 (edited) Miami OH held on to win in OT 90-87. Impressive win (not). UMass is currently battling Boston College on ESPNU. Up by 12 with 11 min to go. Edited December 11 by Let'sGoZips94 Quote
kreed5120 Posted December 11 Report Posted December 11 That's good for UMass, but Boston College is pretty much a mid-major masquerading as a P5. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted December 11 Report Posted December 11 UMass made 2 free throws with 5 seconds to go to win 76-74. Nice win for the MAC. Quote

RoyalBlu Posted Saturday at 11:32 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:32 PM That Kent State MAC home opener should be electric at UMass, Dec. 20th. Frank Martin will likely look to curb stomp the Golden Flashes to send a loud and clear message to the rest of the league!!! Quote

Captain Kangaroo Posted Sunday at 04:26 AM Report Posted Sunday at 04:26 AM Zips put up 100 on Murray State. Definitely will be looked upon as a good loss by the tournament committee. We were 2 points away from scoring 102! Quote

Makes me feel a bit better Starting their road trip from Hell off on the right foot. Losing to Portland before flying to UMass, then going to Purdue. Look what happens when they play a legit road game. Buffalo also lost a close one to East Carolina. WMU and Balls lost as well, but that was expected. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Miami OH survived their toughest test to date. The team with the weakest SOS going into the night finally played a team in the top 200 in NET - a Q3 opportunity at Wright State (138 night going into the night). Miami OH was up by 12 at the half and won by 7. They shot 55% from the field and 53% from 3P, only winning by 7 despite Wright State going 3-21 (14%!!!!) from 3P and 43% from the field. The Sweaters will continue to get AP Top 25 votes despite playing absolute creampuffs. Toledo got throttled by Michigan State. BUGS creamed a lowly Chicago State. NIU and Ohio beat non DI opponents. Not including last night's games, the MAC currently has 9 teams in the top 200 NET. Only WMU, NIU, CMU, and Balls are outside the top 200; the latter 3 are all 300+. Quote
Reslife4Life Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Finally, I was getting worried they weren't gonna do a basketball version this year Quote

We rag on Miami for their weak schedule, but their road win @ Wright State is better than any win we have during OOC play. Quote
