Zippy87 Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago Just realized Toledo, UMass, or BG will be in the championship game. Wild. Quote
MDZip Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Toledo and BGSU deserve each other. I can't believe one of these teams is going to make the semifinal. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I had a tab open for Miami OH's stats. Just went to their schedule and physically watched the 31-0 change to 31-1. It was cinema. 1 Quote
MDZip Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago So I didn't get my Miami loss on a last second bank shot. But the player who stole the ball that pretty much sealed the game is named Banks so I'll take that. 🤣 2 Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Looking at the Miami OH box score, for just the 4th time in MAC play, Miami OH didn't have a FTA advantage. Both teams shot 18 FTs. Also of note, Miami OH didn't have a bad shooting day (48% FG, 36% 3P); UMass only shot 20% from 3P and 52% from FG. Almost a carbon copy of last year's MAC title game where Miami OH shot the ball well and still lost to a team with a worse shooting performance. Is Steele the new Kowalchoke? Edit: Also, UMass outrebounded Miami OH 41-24. Edited 3 hours ago by Let'sGoZips94 Quote
Zips1991 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago For anyone at the arena, when the time comes, can you give an estimated start time so I know when to quit working for the day? 😉 Quote

GP1 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Does anyone have a tape measure? It's about time to go see if that trophy case is big enough for another trophy. Quote

Boy does it. My last meeting ended just before Miami OH tipped. I don't think I need any extra hands to count the number of times I've looked at my work screens lol. Quote
Zips1991 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Toledo couldn't possibly blow an 11 point lead in 4 minutes, could they? 😆 Quote

Let'sGoZips94 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Toledo survives, although they tried not to. 4:10-4:15ish for Akron. 1 Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Kowalchoke is literally crying in the postgame interview and just said, "It was a big game for a lot of reasons." His job was on the line, wasn't it... 😅 Quote
