ZippyRulz Posted May 17 Report Posted May 17 (edited) We will be a force in D3. Looking at you, DePauw. Edited May 17 by ZippyRulz Quote
MDZip Posted May 17 Report Posted May 17 Really disappointing loss. Lots of bad luck but also put this one on Coach Nicholson a little. Jamrog was gassed. After the two run homer that should have been a clue. Good news is this team loses only two seniors with significant playing time. Should be another good year. 1 Quote

Not only should Nicholson and Goodrich pursue it, but Steinbrecher of the MAC needs to raise hell. Incompetence does not justify this decision. It affected the outcome of the game and that is not tolerable. I am not a conspiracy guy, but this has all the makings of one. We probably would have lost to LSU again, yet our team deserved the recognition for beating #12 Va Tech. Quote
Section210Zip Posted Monday at 04:56 PM Report Posted Monday at 04:56 PM I'm still sick because of this one. My wife and i watch a lot of softball. Maybe more than Holly Rowe. We were excited to see the girls make the tournament. Saturday was the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. How they missed the call when it looks like not only is it a forced out but she is also tagged out... I don't get it. Not to mention that because of the the faulty replay rules, we didn't even get to see if it was a catch or not by the centerfielder that started this whole play. 2 Quote
Blue & Gold Posted 12 hours ago Author Report Posted 12 hours ago @72 Roo, you posted this 👇 in another thread. I did not know this was the case. Can you elaborate a bit? You are not in the extreme minority. This team is slowly rebuilding with the biggest jump at QB. 6-6 is definitely within their grasp and 7-5 is possible, but not probable. Regards the football budget, I am not worried. Goodrich and Pottorff know it is low and they are working to add to it while suffering the cuts the university has mandated to right its financial situation. Both will be resolved over time. As mentioned in another post today we are a program that competes well in most every sport. Baseball would have been a top competitor had they not lost their top three pitchers this season, all of whom will be back. Quote
72 Roo Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Do not take this as gospel, but I believe the reasons for losing our top three pictures was one had a skiing accident, another had testicular cancer that has been successfully treated and the last spiked himself causing a horrific gash that necessitated sutures and rest for the remainder of the season. Who are those three pitchers? Quote
