Maybe the band geeks should just watch the game…

If they give a reason to watch, sure.

It's homecoming, I see the excitement is building for the game...

Any inside scoops on whether CB will be available?

Vegas has the spread down to -5.5 for EMU. I've taken them at -13.5 but hope I'm wrong. I'll be there and am bringing two friends. Go Zips!

Nothing against Mango but the lack of transparency of player injuries always makes me mad. It can’t be that much of a competitive advantage to at least give us a window for an injury. The opposing teams usually have a better idea than the fans would. Not an Akron specific issue I’ve even seen it in hockey either the monsters before

I believe this is the first time Poffenbarger isn’t listed as out in the availability report. So I’d guess that means he’s either playing or they’ve given up on gaining eligibility.

edit: he’s no longer listed into the roster. Looking like another fun day.

Go ZIps!  Game Day

[ZippyDoo]

vary large crowd here today. defense did well first drive that first POI looked bogus...

i couldn't tell about the second one cause it was the other side of the field but the ball didn't look catchable

[zipsrule]

TOUCHDOWN Zips!

Good looking first drive.

[exit322]

Excellent opening drive.

[MangoZip]

Uh-oh, touchdown on the first drive… That usually means we are now done for the day scoring until the last seconds of the game.

[ZippyDoo]

defensive stand here would be tremendous. the defensive line coach actually showed life so let's see if it works

[csims0917]

They’re celebrating all the mac champs and showing all of their highlights. Pretty cool. Big boost for presentation. Helps promote the smaller sports

[exit322]

Not a bad first quarter.  Let's get a stop on third down here to start the second.

[ZippyDoo]

this is a huge play already....

[exit322]

Of course they weren't ever going to actually hold...

And frankly, a huge offensive drive coming up now.

[MangoZip]

Using the run to set up the pass 👍

[exit322]

Defense needs to start playing here today...

[clarkwgriswold]

The DBs are just bad.

[ZippyDoo]

defense line  is finally getting pressure

[exit322]

There we go!!

[roopride]

Let’s finish the half wellGo ZIps!  Game Day

[GP1]

Looks like a nice crowd in the lower bowl.

[clarkwgriswold]

Let's see what team makes the necessary adjustments at half.
