Top Drawer soccer (TDS) predicts that a zip 2027 recruit will do well this weekend in ECNL tournament. https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/article/?categoryId=0&articleId=55414&articleTitle=ecnl-boys-sc:-under-19-players-to-know Lazar Ivanis, Cleveland Force FC – The success of local talent Jack Roman at Akron suggests that a 2027 grad like Ivanis could hit the Big East program and make a difference. And by seeds that reads as #'s 4, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, and two unranked. Crazy tournament. We are as good as anyone remaining, so why not us? -
2025 NCAA Tournament

SLU's goalie got a yellow card during PKs for throwing the Bryant goalie's water bottle over the large screen behind the goal. I personally wasn't impressed with either team, so if SLU lacks mental and physical fortitude, advantage Akron. -
Because they are scholar athletes and part of a team that should have high standards of conduct. There is a lot of physical conduct on the pitch but after the game the players shake hands. The game is over, the better team won, have some class.
-
Sorry but I'm not so sure about this. It seems to me that if we expect a team to endure that which fans can dish out for 90+ minutes (like that which our rowdies provide), why should we not expect players to vent for a few minutes following a road win.
-
Southern, Atlantic 10, West Coast (think Gonzaga basketball for now) But yeah, for soccer...whatever
-
Just really poor sportsmanship. Not sure where this all started but somebody should put a stop to it. Not the first time I have seen this conduct after a game.
-
Stay focused on this game, win by 20+, then get to the Tulane game where their fan base will be focused on football.
-
And the magic happens if both are true! Provided the UConn booster is "big enough" to matter.
-
Either a UConn booster wants him, or JoeMo is desperately trying to get out of Akron. Either way, there should be a red carpet rolled out for his departure.
-
Probably not plausible. TTU and BYU are much too strong a potential champion to get bumped by a G5.
-
I think we've hit the point in college football that there are no surprises.
-
I anticipate a LOT of events being held there when it opens.
-
The Charli D'amelio to joe moorhead pipeline is not something I would've expected to happen

Washington knocks off Stanford. Wow. 2 Big Ten 2 Big East 1 ACC 3 Whatever the Heck Conferences -
Cleveland could have not just the best stadium in the Midwest, but in at least half of the country. People should be excited.
-
It’s been all quiet on the VT front the last several days but Joe’s name keeps coming up as a candidate for the UConn head coaching job. Looks like possibly mutual interest, but as someone on here mentioned previously, his 13-35 record at Akron would be a hard sell to fans and boosters.
-
This is a good practice game against size. We should win by 20 but hopefully we rebound and defend well!
