  1. Past hour
  2. Wil Trapp / MNUFC advance to the Conference semifinals.
  3. Darlington Nagbe reflects after final match of incredible career
  4. Beto Ydrach with the winning PK. Riverhounds prevail and advance to the Conference final 4-3 in the shootout. Great to be there to see it and congratulate our Zips Mens Soccer alum.
  5. Today
  6. Actual Penn State played at New Haven by the way. New Haven apparently gave up 2-3 free pay games in future seasons.
  7. This would be a really good game to make an education day game for local school kids. Either way bring on Penn State*
  8. Not to my knowledge. Nevada was the closest we came outside of UCLA in the 2022 NCAA Tourney. I don't recall if VCU was ranked when they came to the JAR with Shaka, but that would've been a close game, too.
  9. Disappointing loss for volleyball. Up 2-0 and with 3 points of a win, lost the last three sets and now tied with BGSU in the playoff race. Now they have to try to work their way in again at a tough Toledo team.
  10. Have we ever beaten a ranked team? I know it hasn't happened in the 15+ years since I've been a fan.
  11. This staff has a brilliant record in developing players. Of course Enrique comes to mind, but also how about Amani, MMK. If Briscoe and Barre are willing to work the staff will have them ready for more minutes.
  12. Saturday November 8 only 1 game involving a zips opponent number 23 (coaches ranking) Cornell got a 1-0 win over Columbia Cornell win moved them up to 21 in RPI Cornell move dropped UConn from 21 to 22 in RPI. Some games tomorrow….that could impact the Zips RPI. Zips are currently 11 in RPI interesting games on Sunday West Virginia is currently number 12 in RPI. WVA hosts number 103 Old Dominion at 3. Stanford is currently number 9 in RPI. The Cardinal play an ACC QF game tomorrow at 8 against number 23 (RPI) SMU. NC State is currently number 10 in RPI. The Wolfpack also play an ACC QF game - Sunday at 6 against number 43 Syracuse.
  13. Meanwhile, Purdue uas Bama before us and Memphis after us. They may overlook us.
  14. I agree. The Zips players shouldn’t look ahead, but I don’t see why us fans can’t start talking about Purdue a little early. Purdue page please. 🙏
  15. I know many people on this forum don’t care for these games against Division 2 teams (or worse). They don’t bother me as much, but then again I’m not a season ticket holder. They do serve a purpose. I just wish I could watch it on ESPN+.
  16. Where's the Purdue thread? It's Beat Kent, Purdue, and UConn week.
  17. I love our OOC schedule.
  18. Speaking of Bradley, they are taking CMU to the woodshed right now. CMU is bad.
  19. Defense was stellar!!
  20. Beat Purdue - then we can talk. 😉
  21. I remember that now. I didn’t hear any talk about his injury.
  22. Another factor I forget about Barre until now is that he spent some of the time in the off-season in a walking boot with a bad ankle, further setting him back.
  23. Yesterday
  24. Agreed. Barre or Briscoe will need to be able to perform when called upon.
  25. I think it's important to for us all to remember with a lot of these guys that they are coming from different teams/systems (Ev. Mahaffey, Barre) or are just starting their careers (Er. Mahaffey, Stankovic). For example, I thought Eric and Evan both looked much more comfortable today than they did in the opener. I have a hard time believing that a player who started 1/3 of the games last year at a solid A10 school isn't good enough to even see the floor for us. It was good to see Barre out there and would assume he will play a lot Wednesday. I think we certainly need his size off the bench if we want to reach the goals we all have for this team.
  26. Halligan would start on a lot of MAC teams
  27. 1 turnover to 6 assists for Tavari today. Only 7 turnovers for the entire team.
  28. 7 or 8 at least
