  1. Yesterday
  2. Lyles got his first start of the summer and recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds in 27 minutes. Although he did have 5 turnovers.
  3. I watched some of the Freeman's game today when the World Cup was not on and Freeman looked good scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds including 6 offensive rebounds. At the end of the game he was a beast on the offensive boards givning Minn multiple offensive possessions.
  4. Yes, that's the two-way contract. Each team is allowed 3 of those. The rank and file G-League players (not on two-ways) make ~$50k.
  5. Isn't Enrique on a two-way ($600k/yr.)?
  6. He's probably better off playing overseas. G-League players only make ~$50K unless on a two-way. He could probably make double that in Europe.
  7. Well Lyles is playing pro ball now so I'm uncertain how that would factor in. I know a random G-League player last year ended up committing to some D1 school and I know some pro European players have came to D1. The rules use to be much simpler when determining if a player was eligible or not.
  8. Yes, that's the rule. That's why Evan and others took the matter to court to bypass the rule. He wouldn't have needed to take it to court otherwise.
  9. If TJ is eligible, Lyles should be as well.
  10. Two things here 1- at least the games will be fun 2- defense has been the better coached side the entirety of this regime so they should develop well this season
  11. I think we could figure out a roster spot for Tavari if needed. 😆
  12. Roster is full with Evan.
  13. I just read the NCAA rules and it indicates that students who have completed their eligibility under the old rules do not get the 5 for 5. Somebody posted that Tavari should come back. I am confused but glad to see Evan back. https://www.ncaa.org/eligibility-center/division-i-age-based-eligibility-rules/
  14. So the Mahaffey thing. This means Tavari would be eligible if he wants? Anybody talk to our guy lately?
  15. Last week
  16. Enrique has enough on film now between his limited NBA play and the G-League. At this juncture he needs a team to believe in him more than he needs stellar rookie league performances.
  17. The offense “should” be pretty darn good but the defense could be awful.
  18. Lyles with 13 points and 3 rebounds in 12 minutes today. It will always be tough for him to make the NBA roster but he could be playing his way into a G League deal.
  19. Yeah, it's incredibly hard to predict anything with this team for a litany of reasons. I'd say the floor could be as low as 2-10, but the ceiling could be as high as 9-3. I have Minnesota, UNLV, and Miami (OH) as definitive Ls. Sticking with 7-5 or 8-4, though.
  20. That's what I don't know. He hasn't played for two years, and his last start before that was a 59-0 loss in the FCS semifinals. Is he good? If he's not, well...
  21. It's the days of NIL, so everyone's roster is gutted annually. If he's a legitimately good FBS QB, the ceiling is a MAC title.
  22. Very optimistic expectations. I also believe Poff is that good, but both lines need to be rebuilt. 6-6 is more realistic and 7-5 is fantastic. I hope you know more than me and I would love to see 7-5 or 8-4. I am eager to see this team play. Go Zips!
  23. Wow. Then what's the ceiling? Assuming he is 'good'
  24. If Poff is good, 7-5 is the floor.
