NIU has a 2k bench player on the floor wearing number 96
-
NIU loves to show up in these big time games
-
I also felt the Lord's presence when the rowdies were yell F___K you to Kent.
-
And putting aside religion, there seems to be a lot of belief in this team

I call ringer. Dude dunked the layup. 😉

I know I felt Christ's presence multiple times last night, especially when the student section sang over the a acapella choir during the national anthem. Whaley's injury was no accident.😇

ESPN predicts the percentage chance to win each game. And currently the zips are projected to win out the regular season. (56% chance to beat Troy is the closest game) I think it is there is still a chance for a 2 bid MAC!
-
I understand Groce takes the kids to Christ Community Chapel that want to come so it's not a show.
-
I respect all religions and those who don't practice any religion. Personally, I'd prefer they stick to team gear on the bench. We are not a Christian school. But it's also not something I'm going to lose any sleep over.

Yes, he'll look good in a Big 12 or Big East uniform next year. He's already played himself out of EMU being able to afford retaining him.
-
Still mad over The Big Chill losing out to that awful Terms of Endearment. 🤣
-
And their next best player fouled out and their tallest player fouled out. I give them credit for winning that one, although both teams desperately tried to give it away at the end.
-
Enrique II, is that you?!
-
Zips win! Interesting last minute where both teams tried to give it away.
-
What a sloppy ending.
-
Shaping up to be quite the ending here

Has anyone else noticed that both Scott and Tavari have step back jump shots that are almost impossible to defend. That is something new to their games this year. Also, Scott has been much more aggressive in attacking and finishing at the basket this year. That three point play where he got fouled and put the ball high over the defender was amazing.

I agree that Young will continue to improve, but as a Sophomore he wasn’t ready to carry the load of starting point guard. That’s my only point. Defensively he’s way ahead of Tavari.
-
Looks like someone finally made all four shots to win the audience contest.
-
I never saw Pollock, but I did see Almost Famous. Kate Hudson should have won. 😉
-
Mohammad Habhab is tough. 6-9 & skilled.
