I agree. Kent fans are Kent fans. They remind me of weird teachers that I had in high school, but they aren't bad people. Ohio fans, are without a doubt, the biggest douchebags in the conference. Anyone who has encountered them at the MAC Tournament knows this is true.3 points

There seemed to be casting accusations that Woodson's injury was l in his head, last year (Honestly, I don't remember who.) Let's hope they think twice next time be for raking a player over the coals when they don't have firsthand knowledge. Get well soon, Tommy!3 points

You are correct and it was classless. I thought it was pretty funny though and I certainly harbor no real ill will toward Mr. KARNowski. Whatever happened to "Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me"? Dunno. I apologized for it. I don't really care if Ohio fans make fat jokes about Big Dog. He's a great player. He's a man. He can take it. Ohio fans blatant douchebaggery goes way deeper than some comments on their board. Wait around a couple minutes and Ohio fans will start commenting in this thread on our board.2 points

Bowden said we signed 13 but the total for new players in the fall will be around 29.2 points

You guys are crazy. Woody is the QB assuming he is healthy. You heard pure coach speak and Bowden was far from direct when he asked if it was an open battle or whatever. Somebody has to be QB in the spring/when summer camp begins when Woody is out. Doesn't mean they are "the guy" when all things are equal. What I found most interesting is no mention of Chapman whatsoever. Position change or done with the team?? edit: Saw a thread was created stating he is moving to WR.2 points

Think Kaminsky. Big guy who doesn't rebound or like to play under the basket. Not a great defender either.1 point

Curious to see how the Kittens have adjusted to the loss of Campbell. I think they were still reeling from it at the JAR a couple of weeks ago. They're 2-2 since they saw the Zips, so the adjustment doesn't look like it is going well. Of particular note is a loss to 7-14 WMU.1 point

Sorry, I thought we were just discussing Woodson. I agree with above, but to be honest, I enjoy when someone like yourself goes to a football practice and reports here at ZN, this way I know I'm getting a passionate fan's view. I understand that ZN members don't have the access, but I gave up after Razor left. He was a fan, and a writer. It actually made me giggle a little yesterday when coach didn't say their name correctly.1 point

The Classless Kittens already started two "Kron" threads for this Saturday and in the first one they immediately began with rude and offensive comments about Big Dog. I dislike the Kent team the most but the Kitten fan base is basically a bunch of Neanderthals.1 point

There were plenty of rumors flying about Woodson last year. That's what happens when there is lack of information about what is going on. People fill in the blanks.1 point

Some more info on each player at go zips dot com. Some positive comments I overheard after the press conference, Warren Ball's status for next season is looking good, not a done deal, but pointing in the right direction. Brock Boxen is recovering well, and the outlook for left tackle was talked about with an excitement. There was some small talk about the scheme, coach is anticipating on staying with what worked, he believed the injuries had much more to do with the lack of success than the actual scheme. A couple photos from yesterday's event. If ZN members ever considered going to this, you should. Coach is happy to answer any question you may have.1 point

We'll never know how much this had to do with our anticipated situation at QB, our need to fill the void at WR with the Lane/Natson exit, or both. I just hope he's in a spot where he can really help us. The hype vs. the production just wasn't there. But, I'm still grateful that he did enough to get us that win out in Portage County last year.1 point

That's awful. I hope it returns soon. I always enjoyed reading The Buchtelite when I was in school.1 point

No. Look at the picture. Daniel Strachan is the only player wearing a Zips hat.1 point

We can really only confirm the ones that were announced and the ones who Tweeted about it today, bit more than likely. Here is another who tweeted today, not on our radar. Shawn Muldowney from Southeast in Ravenna, OL, 6'5" 280lbs1 point

Terry just said on The Drive that the request for a 6th year was all but approved. Paperwork just needed to be filed.1 point

Balsy posted a press release by Matt Wilson, our president and the person who this thread is concerning. He didn't even make any comments in regards to it. Just simply posted the article. YOU'RE the one that derailed this thread by you trying to get your political agenda a crossed. This is the same way you take every opportunity you can get to bring OSU into a discussion. If you want to get into a lengthy debate about how OSU sucks or how you feel liberals are loony bins, go create threads in the off topic, smack talk section. I'll make sure to avoid them. Edit: I admit I've personally foolishly taken the bait a few times, but no more.1 point

Briefly skimmed through the NIU message board and encountered some pretty great stuff. They went from a top of the world feeling when they had that big 1st half lead to complete pitch forks we need to fire our coach mode. http://csnbbs.com/thread-807490.html1 point
