  2. I updated the rest of the MAC teams in hopes of getting a few more eyes on the conference. Out of all the teams, only 15 committed players still need a rating. Not perfect, but better than any other recruiting site. My goal is to have every MAC player rated in 2023. Currently the team rankings look like this: #60 - Central Michigan #62 - Miami #69 - Western Michigan #77 - Akron #81 - Northern Illinois #84 - Ball State #90 - Kent State #93 -Toledo #97 - Eastern Michigan NR - Ohio NR - Bowling Green NR - Buffalo

  3. There have been some good postings on the remaining available players left for the Zips to be recruited. I am trusting these potential recruits are accurate, but my point is to identify the positions on the team that are needed. Also, I am going to assume the 2022 and 2023 commits are competent and Coach will retain the 2023 commits. I know this is a big assumption, but we will find out. I want to get input on what else is needed in the class of 2023 based on position. I will review my perspective on the current situation position by position. QB Commit: Wassel Current: 4 (Irons, Undercuffler, Jankowski, Jennings) on roster Needs: Based on how Irons/Undercuffler perform, maybe a 5th year senior transfer. RB Commit: None Current: 4 recruits/transfers in 2022, plus Norrils and Williams Needs: No additional recruits, should be a solid position OL Commits: Long, Mann Current: 19 OL on roster, with 17 being Fr or So. Includes 6 RS-So who are in their fourth season along with Whigen and Banes. Should have experience. Needs: Based on performance of OL, maybe one from the TP. TE Commit: Cravaack Current: Brank, Ognenovic, plus 4 recruits/transfers in the class of 2022 who are highly regarded Needs: None, I would try to shed a couple of the TE's WR Commits: 3, Norton, Miller, Louis Current: Jacques-Louis, Adams, and George as P5 transfers, plus recruits and existing WR teammates Needs: Nothing additional in this class, I would try to shed a couple of WR's. DL Commits: Moore, Cheatom Current: A very poor returning DL on the roster, a very porous group, plus 5 TP/CC transfers and 1 recruit in the class of 2022. 3 transfers have only 1 year of eligibility remaining Needs: 3 additional freshman recruits plus 2 TP transfers to allow the transition to the JoeMo recruits. LB Commits: Bowen Current: Bubba, Boateng, Behm, plus others who I hope can develop Needs: 2 more freshman recruits and 2 TP recruits DB Commits: Tucker, Taylor, White Current: Threatt, Martin, Woods, Nelson as 2022 tranfers, plus many DB's on the roster Needs: None K/P - I think we are in good shape currently Summary Offensively, I feel good with the exception of QB, which is the most important position. May need a transition person to Wassel Defensively: I see a lot of needs short and long term at DL and LB. In Coach JoeMo we trust!!! Go Zips!!!!

  4. Joel Sangwa continues to impress at CB. He reads the game very well and his passing into offense is superb. Gyuwon Chong arrived. Last night. He subbed in quite well for the unavailable Johnny Fitzgerald.

  5. Nice templates. Guthrie must have had a serious conversation with our media/marketing teams about upping the professionalism.

  7. I agree, getting to a good team would put wind in his sails. He had a great outing last night at home against Boston though. 7 innings pitched, 2 hits, 7 K's, no runs and got the win (apparently he exited due to a blister). Bassitt is on the hill tonight for the Mets.

  9. Unable to post the photo from my phone, but I'm at the Guardians game and there is now a section down the first base side titled "Kaulig Companies Club". Matt is one of, if not our biggest assets as Akron fans. He is a money-making machine.

  10. I raced online for years, ran several series. Dirt late models, pavement lates, We used “NASCAR Legends” as street stocks. We also ran old school offline (against the AI) NASCAR Cup. iRenting I mean iRacing had all the servers shut down and I got out. I still race against the AI every week. We miss the good old days, never a dull moment in the chat room between races, haven’t laughed like that since.

  11. Impressive play by Safety target Harlem Howard. Edge target Nnamdi Udeogu. 6’5 with a 7 foot wingspan. Now has P5 offers from Vandy, Syracuse, and Rutgers. Jaleel Engleman who also plays DB with an interception. Edge target Kion Wright with the sack.

  14. Should essentially be "overall class" as well at this point as I don't think many, if any, programs have transfer commits for the 23 class already.

  17. By the way, why does it seem like our schedule is always one of the last two be announced? Seems like we always find out non-conference, non-early-season-tourney games through other teams' schedules. By the time ours is fully announced, everything except which Point Park we play.
