I thank the good Lord for the wisdom to not drive to Akron for this game.

I went to the game today for the first time all season. Not only do I have to watch bad football, I have to listen to continuous 1000 decibel music every second during the game except when the ball is snapped. Give me a break and turn off the radio during the game. For those that said there was no enthusiasm during the game. They are dead wrong. The band was very enthusiastic and having a great time. Not so much on the field. We lost at least 100 yards on the punt returns. Short punt, ball bounces 20 yards as our punt returner watches. Then on the last punt it goes over his head and bounces 30 yards for a 70 yard punt. Once again, 4th and one and a handoff from the shotgun for no gain. I guess it is too much for a division one team to have their QB under center and have a quarterback sneak or hand it off to the back. This team is a train wreak for the 7th year in a row.

There are enough experienced players on this team that three points in a half against a mid level MAC school should never happen. This is just plain bad.

With 6 minutes in the 3rd quarter Akron passes on an easy FG and doesn't get any points. Now they are down 17. Coaching really isn't this hard.

Both Morton and Johnson sucked up on that TD reverse, but how a flag wasn’t thrown on the dropped pass in the end zone is beyond me. It was a clear pick play by Miami to free the receiver. Oh well. Time to respond.

We never use the middle of the field on pass plays.

But that wasn't the start of that bad field position. That was a punt that was not fielded and went too far downfield. That after a dropped touchdown and now the zips are down 7-0.

I think he verballed to FIU back when Coach J-Rod was FIU’s OL Coach. So hopefully there’s still a good relationship there & we have the inside track.

Northern played 11 men back at home against a good Western Michigan team and got a 0-0 result. Northern Illinois will play 11 men back and try to use the high winds to their advantage one game at a time for the zips
