  1. Hopefully more good things coming to the baseball program soon.

  2. When there is a nice crowd present it's a great atmosphere. The lawn chairs & blankets along the 3rd baseline & circling the outfield look pretty cool. (As I type that it sounds tongue-in-cheek, but it's not. I guess you've got to see it in person.)

  3. I've always found it a bit hypocritical that MAC fans bitch and moan about P6 schools not coming to their arena to play, but at the same time those same fans would never want to see their team go on the road to play an American East or SWAC school.

  4. Trying to get excited about this commit, but him recording zero stats in 2022 for a G5 (granted high powered passing G5 with good WRs) leaves me with questions I can’t find answers to. Seems like he did show a little something as a redshirt freshman though and had some pretty nice offers in HS. Also when I see a player doing pretty well at WKU who used to play for the Zips (Michael Mathison), and him not doing anything just feels kind of meh.

  5. Tavari is going to mold into a great player, but man you can tell the D1 game is still a little too fast for him. He seems to make 2-3 mistakes per game that make you wonder what was he even thinking. There really is no solution for it other than playing through it and learning as he goes.

  6. I’d love to see Tavari help Tavari.

  7. If I stayed in one place, I'd carry a folding chair in and out instead of sitting in the stands. I'm showing my age saying "lawn chair". 😎 One place I hang out is the bullpen area later in the game. The interactions between the players can be entertaining.

  8. They're a Final Four team according to the CBS Sports announcers during the Balls game.

  9. I'm going to be perturbed if we lose Muskingum or Concord to accommodate for this.

  10. Bowling Green is third in the MAC at 77.7 points per game and 8th in defense, giving up 74.1 a game. Zips are 9th in offense at 69.4 ppg and second in defense at 62.3 ppg. I suspect this game could be determined by pace.

  11. Wacky MAC: Northern Illinois makes up a seventeen point 4th quarter deficit to beat Toledo at home by a point. Same Toledo that beat then #14 Michigan a month ago. Akron's 11-2/2-0 mark sits atop the conference at the moment.

  13. BG beat OU today to get to 8-7/2-0. Kaden Matheny led them with 25 points. He was 5/9 on 3-pointers.

  14. And a tough gutty win on the road, even with one starter scoring no points. Zips have started off 10-2, best start in program history. Might be something growing here, besides what coach Jackson is growing herself.👶 Fun to watch her pat her stomach during the game, wonder who she is trying to calm down. That baby is probably going to be able to handle stress really well. 😊

  15. I don’t know if it means anything or not, but everything on Coach Debo’s Twitter profile (which he is active on) still points to him being at Akron.

  16. Yep, he’s a good one. Probably only a year or two away from losing Renna, Bell, Rodriguez, and Popper too. JoeMo put together a talented staff that will likely go on to bigger opportunities.

  17. We should collectively say a prayer for the Tennessee game announcers. I hope they're ok with this news that DJ will not being transferring to the SEC.

  18. Ben Iannacchione figures to be the real deal. He's back in his P5 comfort zone. Good for him. Do we know if we're promoting from within?

  19. Zips lose their strength & conditioning coach to the same position at Washington State.
