If Undercuffler moves the ball whatsoever, make him the QB for the rest of the season. Bullock just can’t throw, and he’ll be a junior next year. It’s too late to learn. Make him a slot receiver next season, or he can move on. So unbelievably tired of watching inept football for 5 years.

So I’m watching the end of College Gameday, which now goes to 12:05 for some reason. I flip over to CBS Sports to check out Kent-EMU. It’s 7-0 EMU with 14:54 left in the 1Q. Naturally I think something is wrong with the scorebug or something weird happened. So I log into the ESPN app and it hasn’t even launched the game yet to see the stats and play-by-play. Kidding aside, it is an unpleasant drive to which I'm not looking forward. However, to me, it is well worth my time and expense to support our team in person when I can. Regardless of what some on this forum may think because my expectations are high, I happily support our players, coaches, and staff on the road as well as at home, when I can. My job has not afforded me the ability to be at all of the games that I would have loved to have attended this season, but this one and at Butler lend themselves to my attending in person, and I plan to be there. As others have posted, this will be a tough conference divisional road match. The BE schedulers did us no favors scheduling Xavier, Creighton, and Butler on the road in the same season. Hopefully key starters and subs are healthy and all are mentally ready for a tough battle tonight. Go Zips!!!

Wasted season for sure. Great point on the turnovers. Hard to win when the offense turns it over 12 times vs 8 for the defense. Couple in spotty QB and OL play, along with some stubborn play-calling, and here we are. Team could still turn the corner, but it’s taken way too long. Another opportunity today, so we’ll see.

Not enough development going on with the future. We have our highest ranked 2023 player (Wasel) nowhere in the picture. He had options and chose us. Maybe regretfully so. He’s someone to get excited about (watch his HS film. Took a nothing team in Oklahoma to two championship games in three years and put them on the map.) Not sure Jennings getting much development either. I’ve seen not a glimmer of him on sidelines. I don’t know the history on him. Stick with The Cuff. He can at least give us hope. Quit forcing Bullock. Start developing Wasel and Jennings. Keep an eye on the portal and go there if needed. Several freshman receivers to get excited about. I’m still very proud of our defense.
