I'm guessing 17 in the total attendance contest for the Matthew Wilson bobblehead. I just want rid of it and the many other Matthew Wilson bobbleheads I was cursed with through buying grab bags at the Football Spring Game sale!

That game was amazing, truly a "high-level" basketball game. Not only did Dailey bury the 3 to win. Sophomore Ali Ali hit a corner 3 with 5 seconds left to send the game to OT

Groce's only regular season win over Toledo came in a wild, back and forth shootout during the COVID year in 2021. Game winner was hit by none other than Maishe Dailey. The game was so intense you couldn't even tell there were no fans in the JAR. The benches brought all the energy needed. Speaking of, the Toledo coaching staff is loaded with spaz-wads as always. Unfortunately, former Zip GA Brett Rau has been lured onto staff by Tod.

I like Zips to cover 4.5 spread. Home court, home crowd (4122), and better D. Toledo guards provide bulk of their scoring and Tribble,Dawson,Thornton all strong defenders. Toledo's D not strong in the paint where Zips derive most of their scoring. Zips win, 76-70.

I will never, ever criticize a person or group trying to improve their community. Certainly, the I Promise can improve its effectiveness. The same can be said for the public school system as a whole. The LeBron James Family Foundation has worked to do that and invested heavily in doing so, but anyone who's ever worked with at-risk students knows it's not typically a quick-turnaround. Most students entering the school were two or three grade levels behind their peers. Most live in poverty. Many have experienced trauma. And his foundation is working to break the generational cycle those communities experience. "But I heard he doesn't tip well!" If you're always looking for the negative in things, you're likely to find it. For anyone interested, here's a good article on what the school offers and what's planned in the future.
