Great list!!. I give Groce a pass on Kostelac as that was his first year and he had little options in finding a big man. Also, your misses must include Khadim Gueye, the guy who punched out Kostelac. Also, the book is still out on Tavari, Scott and Nate and they still could be hits or misses. Only time will tell.
Today is June 23.
The zips open their regular season at Notre Dame on August 22.
That is 60 days away.......let the countdown begin
I am so excited about the potential for this team.
I hope that the full fall schedule is released sometime this week.
Go, Zips !!!
As we enter the dog days of summer, the annual trek from Ohio to Hilton Head and back starts. It is currently in full swing. As a resident of the greater Charlotte area and someone who likes to go into the city on Saturday nights, I have one request.
Please do not oversleep on your last day. Too many Ohioans wake up late and then drive recklessly trying to get home, or they hope to avoid the many hours of miserable traffic. This causes accidents and traffic jams on interstate 77 on Saturdays in Charlotte.
Thank you and have a great day.
This Ohioan is up at the crack of 4:15, AIS by 5:00am, coffee piping hot in thermos (you have to let it cool for an hour, so you can sip it for the next hour because we ain't stopping until we need gas 3.5 hrs from now) and on the road 🤘
Posting this here as to not hijack the Freeman thread:
I think when evaluating Groce, you have to kind of separate coaching vs recruiting. I don't have many complaints on coaching. I do think there there have been some misses in recruiting. These are all certainly debatable.

As @1981 grad stated, Khadim Gueye needs to be a miss. I also think Trimble and Dailey should be misses. Michael Wynn could be argued as a "miss" as well. I'd move Riak to "hit". Otherwise, great list.
In terms of Enrique Freeman, we're 2 days away from hearing his name called in the NBA Draft. Whether he's a last 1st rounder or 2nd rounder, what an exciting time for Zips Nation.
I'm going with 30th to Boston.
and even more creative :

I wonder how that figures into one's GPA?
