  1. The through ball by the Cornell player was one of the prettiest passes I've ever seen in a soccer match. Chest-high bullet volley that split the Akron defenders to give the Cornell attacker the advantage. What a save by Mitch to prevent that from being the highlight of the year for Cornell.

  6. Tuesday October 7th Number 2 Vermont traveled to Harvard and the 2 teams ended in a 0-0 result. Harvard has not had a strong year. They are 0-2 in the Ivy League and their overall record is 3-4-3 #14 Georgetown hosted Denver. Denver won 2-1. Denver came into tonight's match with 5 wins and 6 losses. Number 21 Seton Hall pounded Fla. International 5-0. Zips game at Seton Hall on Friday October 17...will be huge if the Zips want to make the Big East Tournament. Villanova got a 1-0 home win over NJIT. DePaul traveled to Bradley and the two teams battled to a 2-2 draw. Butler got a 2-1 road win over Oakland. Cleveland State with a 1-0 home win over Bowling Green. Xavier travled down I-75...and got a 2-0 win at Wright State.

  8. It pains me to say it, but history tells us PCCC will be in the mix. The school and boosters have committed money to Mr. Pinky so they'll be around.

  10. Zips first Homecoming win since 2017? First back-to-back home wins since 2017? Zips are rollin'! πŸ™‚ Miami always seems to beat the Zips by playing simple, straightforward, mistake-free football. And the Zips historically hand them the game with penalties and turnovers. I predict the Zips win if Finley tosses zero INT's. We'll lose by 7 points for every INT he tosses.

  11. Let's get this season started with thoughts of what's known, and what's to come. That 24-25 Post Mortem is hopefully done.

  13. Bold strategy given their recent success, or lack thereof, with freshman. They had one quit the team last year before the season started. Can't remember the last standout freshman at PCCC. Good call on UMass. I don't care about their down years in the A10 recently. They have more money than anyone in the MAC, a better coach than anyone in the MAC not named John Groce and maybe Travis Steele, and the MAC is a significant step down from the A10 after the first few teams.

  15. Ya gotta hand it to them. EMU has some nice facilities. Over the years they are pouring more and more money into the athletics program. That being said they still suck in MBB.

  21. I was a little surprised that NIL in the MAC averaged around $500K. I would have guessed programs like Toledo or OU would be spending in the neighborhood of $1 million for their rosters. Below is an article on how MTSU slashed $650K+ in expenses by eliminating alternate jerseys and helmets. They have instead directed that money to NIL. Identifying the waste and redirecting that money to NIL will be what we would need to do in order to be competitive. Like I said before, we need to find ways of making our dollars stretch further. https://frontofficesports.com/middle-tennessee-state-uniform-cuts-nil/
