    They might be even worse than NIU, which is saying a lot considering a couple years ago it looked like Ball State was turning into a decent basketball program.

    They've been lucky but have created a lot of their own luck. For example, if they didn't make those buzzer beaters against Buffalo, they would have lost but they have excellent shooters and made the shots.

    I think it's a one game suspension if it's a flagrant 2 foul. But I couldn't hear the announcement at the game so I'm not sure how it was classified.

    I know when I was a student about 15 years ago, they had live Kangaroos at Spring Fest. I assume they were from the zoo but I don't know.

    Two year guaranteed contract is nice. Gives him some time to get his feet wet and prove his ability. I think we'll see him on the MLS team within those two years.

    Interesting (in my opinion) tidbit from the Troy schedule. They've played 5 OT games (3 wins, 2 losses) already, including three that have gone to 2OTs and one that went to 3OTs. Akron has had no OT games yet, of course. I'm not sure what it means but just thought it was a lot of extra basketball played by one team. 😁

    I think people have honestly just gotten tired of beating a dead horse. Should we have better attendance? Yes. Are there things can be done about it? To an extent, yes. Is it going to be solved overnight? No.

    Interesting note from coach Nanchoff earlier, but don't feel it needs a new thread. It appears 70% of soccer season ticket revenue will be used for their ACE Fund. That should help boost recruiting.

    I underestimated how much better the MAC is this year compared to the Sun Belt. Seven top 200 teams compared to 4.

    Also, just confirmed Jasun Ridley, a DE from Pasadena CC. We've been hitting the California JUCO/CC scene very hard. I understand this is the route we have to rely on with our financial limitations but hopefully it pays off.

    I guess they've just grown complacent with having a winning record. Although they're even cutting it close on doing that this year.
