I was talking to a friend of mine who now plays soccer for Hiram. He loves soccer, and follows it very deeply. He said Zakuani should be over in Europe in January at the earliest, but most likely by the summer.

The guy should be reviewed mentally anyways. Harrison went to Can't State THEN the Steelers. He obviously wasn't right mentally mentally when he made those decisions and he sure isn't right mentally when he's looking to hurt the opposing players. I wonder if all of his "looking to hurt others" affects his brain, or if he just wasn't raised right. Either way, I hope he gets fined large amounts for the head hunting, then the comments.

Hey if we could just win a few games, you might see circus tents pitched (albeit widely scattered) throughout the Info! If they keep playing like this, they are going to have to put a circus tent OVER the Info. Amen.

Want to immediately help him? Don't count on the draft. Two words Browns fans, Randy Moss. A great deep threat opens up the whole field. Moss has 2-3 good years left in him. The draft is how you get depth. It's hard to turn a team around quickly with the draft. I want Vincent Jackson personally. Big target, great hands, and he's demanding a trade after his suspension.

I see what you're saying, but I'll take Indiana this year. They seem to be down. Plus, I want Virginia. To be the best, you have to beat the best. Virginia, until someone else wins the college cup this year, is the best. We would possibly play Michigan, which we will see how good they are soon.

Honestly, I think I would like to see us win and start to play well. That's just me though. If your sole purpose to Akron football is to wait for a coach to be fired that we just hired, stop back in three years. Haha, no that's not my sole purpose. My sole purpose is to win, but what's the point? We are just that bad, and I'm facing it. I mean I want a win, but its not like we're gonna win the MAC east or anything. I just want our coach gone. The sooner that happens, the sooner we get this turned around.

Bring in the Grand Valley State coach, or get rid of the football team. Knock out a few walls in the Info and make the field bigger for the soccer team. Knock down the old soccer stadium and tennis courts and build me a tennis facility and bring in a men's tennis team. Haha.

Knowing Phil as I do; I'd say that "pissed" is more the word. Ditto.

I wouldn't mind Utah State, Eastern Kentucky, any MVC team, VCU, or George Mason. I think we can hang, if not beat all of them. Call me crazy, but I'm expecting bigger and better things from the Zips basketball squad this year. We seem to have the athleticism, basketball IQ, and height to be able to win games.

My favorite OSUcks fan response is, "You have to like all ohio teams. They represent Ohio." I just don't answer. I just look at them like "how many years were you in kindergarden?" I myself am a diehard Zips fan, then a Michigan fan. My mom is from Michigan, but I like them more because I want to piss people off. It works. Haha. OSUcks fans just tick me off. Oh well. That just made me want to go push a Can't fan down a multiple flights of stairs. Again, my biggest argument against a Can't fan is they make fun of themselves. Quit proving me right Can't!

Ahhh, I guess you're right. My bad. They do, however, keep the seating close to the court. It truly is one of the greatest atmospheres though. It has an aluminum roof, which sound just bounces off of.

Just have to prove the haters wrong. I know we are horrible, but I don't know how much better Can't is. Did anyone watch last week's game against Miami (OH)? Cant's QB is just as bad as ours. Sadly, it's going to be a good game, but at the end of the day, if we have the Wagon Wheel still, I'll be happy.

The colors are red and silver, but it isn't for OSUcks. A waitress told us it is for Tom Ripper or something like that who is a rock and roll person. I don't know. I hate the circular designed stadiums. Give me an oval one. The best oval one I've seen is Purdue's. Mackey Arena I have always loved this stadium. Now, it is going through a $99.5 million renovation, but the general stadium idea is do-able.

We have this game recorded on our DVR. I was 12 years old then. I had school the next morning, but who gave a crap. My dad and I went up to watch our Zippers crush the hopes and dreams of NIU. That was one of the greatest moments ever in Akron history. Plus, I got on Channel 5 News. My dad bought us the MAC championship winner hats and I wore it to school the next morning. I marched right up to my science teacher, who was a HUGE Can't Statecks fan, and shoved the hat in his face. We also have all the Sportscenters and stuff recorded from the next day to hear about Akron's great win. The greatest line ever wasn't about Akron positively, it was about NIU positively. John Anderson said during a highlight of Wolfe running for a huge gain, "Haha Akron, I will poop on ALL YOUR DEFENSE!" I don't care if it bashed Akron, because Akron won that game. Bring on the puppy dogs of NI-Who tonight. We kick their butt in everything else, BUT football. Let's change that tonight. Go Zips! AND REMEMBER:

Does this count as an excuse or a legit reason: We suck. We have WRs that don't have hands. Our QB was better tonight, but still isn't that accurate. Our RBs dance too much without going up field. Don't get me wrong, I was impressed with the 20 points, but we still suck. I LOVE the Zips, but something needs to start clicking or we could finish last in the MAC east again.
