  1. Sagarin says the Zips should win by 4.35 points. That's absurd. Give the points and take the Zips who will win by 14.
  2. I saw that. It was great. Thank you Men's Soccer! I missed that one, but did see a promo showing THIS year's College Cup finally (they were showing last year's final all fall). Not sure if it was Nanny or maybe Z carrying the ball. Hopefully I'll see it more times after this endless parade of crummy bowl games is over. BTW-- where did we finish overall last year? 24 pts for second in soccer, did we get any more? I think we finished with 24, the rest of our sports are kinda terrible This is because the NCAA is biased against our gun shooters. They are much better than kinda terrible. For example, last year no participants or spectators were shot by accident in over 60% of our trigger squeezing competitions.
  3. You should pm Uakronkid....er....I mean Zach. He can probably give you some pointers.
  4. It is pointless to criticize tOSU or the greatest football conference in college. All you have to do to realize how powerful the BIG TEN is is to look at the game results for Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and Wisconsin on this first day of 2011. Their combined record was.........ah.............never mind.
  5. There is an important lesson to be learned by all from this episode. Don't be shoven yo baby's momma even if she deserve it.
  6. Track is also a really strong program. Yes, but it would be really silly to mention that now.
  7. This reads better: Can we keep the negativity to PMs please? We have a solid RIFLE program and a solid basketball program and just won a National Championship yet the aim of a handful of the most recent and active posts are exclusively anti-OSWho. I am not at all an OSWho fan, but I would much rather focus our successes than their failures. We look like big gun-shooting losers obsessing over anti-OSWho posts all the time. Some points are right on target, but most are overdone and petty. p.s. our club baseball team is really good too.
  8. As a youngster I liked when OSU won a football game because I was from Ohio, but it was also always entertaining to watch who Woody Hayes would punch when OSU lost a game.
  9. I never attended UA. Does that mean I have to stop rooting for the Zips? +1. By everyone's logic here Dave and I cannot be Zips fans. You are correct wad; get out. Oh, by the way, do you think Illinois is hapless or hapful?
  10. I never attended UA. Does that mean I have to stop rooting for the Zips? You are OK for now, but when a university is started in Green you must stop rooting for Akron.
  11. Here's my nominee for sentence of the year. I never realized zipeuph was an English major.
  12. When we point to the 1-11 record we can boast about how "bad" this team was. When we look at the team play the last two games of the season we find a different scenario. The Zips nearly pulled off the upset of the season (for MAC play) by barely losing to a good Miami team that went on to win the MAC championship game over a favored NIU. The win over Buffalo was expected. Still, the team showed marked progress toward the end of the season. Are the Zips really all that bad? In retrospect? I see potential and growth on the part of the players and the coaching staff. The learning curve is steep. Yet, manageable. Go American football Zips. Is a steep learning curve or a flat learning curve desirable? http://fast.faa.gov/pricing/98-30c18.htm
  13. It's already open in Wadsworth, has been for a month or two. Can't say i'd even put Chipotle in my top 25 places to eat fast food though (Pita Pit is #1). Chipotle is overpriced and though it's good, it's not THAT good like some people seem to thinkl. Don't anyone pay attention to this nut. When Chipolte opens up go there, spend lots of money, help drive stock price back up above $250.
  14. Looking forward to seeing out boys in the MLS, along with getting some US Squad experience in the future I hope you are not suggesting something about the sexual preferences of these fine young men. Go easy on him Zipmeister... he's new. OK, I just hope he isn't trying to put the X back in Christmas.

  16. Actually your math does not have to be correct for there to be 18 teams scheduled to be in MLS in 2011; that's just a fact. However, you are incorrect about there being four rounds in the SuperDraft. There will only be three this year. The fourth has been moved to the first of three rounds of the Supplemental draft on the 18th.
  17. For 9 out of 10 guys the money isn't much. A different honey in every town - priceless.
  18. I checked this out pretty thoroughly and it turns out it has only happened twice. Once, in 1950, by a guy who had verballed to Marquette. This event so shook the Warriors program that they subsequently dropped football and changed their nickname and mascot. The other occurred in 1943 by a guy who had verballed to Northern Kentucky. Instead he went to the Air Force Academy and later dropped an atomic bomb on Japan. The NK football program survived.
  19. Together these guys will be making thousands and hundreds of dollars (way more than most WNBA players). http://www.mlsplayers.org/files/august_12_...lphabetical.pdf
  20. At 5'10" and 175 I assume we are planning on switching him to dback.
  21. I thought this tread was originally in the football forum because Chris is a big football fan.
  22. I have to agree with Go here; if you ignore #7, the McK thing was not on his list.
  23. First off, it's not my record. I don't know why anyone would get upset. It's a fact. I am sure these are the same friends you always use to try to make a point. You know, the friends that don't exist. By the way, OSU is 7-11-2 VS the SEC. Get your facts straight. They are 0-9 in bowl games. Your "facts" are incorrect. The thing I find amusing about you and the others that think they can hurt my feelings when they say that stuff is because I don't care what you think. You are absolutely clueless about college football and you have no objectivity. You are consumed with jealousy and hate. Deny it all you want. I have never come on here and said OSU is the greatest team or anything even close to that. I stated facts. Fact-OSU has appeared in more BCS games than anyone else. Fact-OSU has a winning record in those games. I predicted 3 losses this season. I am surprised at only 1. I have no idea if they will beat Arkansas. I also find it funny that no matter what you say, you are just showing more SPS. Obviously it makes you feel better to attack OSU non stop. That is why you say Suckeyes, and OSwho. It's a defense mechanism that you use. I admit it , I used to do the same type of thing before I reached puberty. I find it funny that you just happen to know their record vs the SEC. Do you know everyones record against every other conference or just the one you like to follow and hate? I love how you have prepared yourself just in case OSU beats Arkansas. You say they are middle of the road in the SEC. Maybe historically they are, but not this season. We go by this season only since this is when they are playing. Again, if OSU loses you and the others will be on here trying to attack me over it. If OSU wins, you will make an excuse for it and say they were lucky, bla, bla, bla. In case you never noticed, I don't come here after OSU games. I don't rub in a win or care what you have to say about a loss. Let's face it, if OSU went 12-0 made it to the NC game and won it, you would find a reason to say they were lucky or give some other excuse as to why they won it. Another poster here mentioned how OSU beat Oregon last year in the Rose bowl only because Kirk Herbstreit made it happen. ROFLMAO. Of course, Oregon was over rated. LOL Perhaps you guys that are so enamored with the SEC can answer why they rarely if ever travel out of conference to road games. OSU has played USC, Texas, Miami, and have Miami and Colorado both next year. Since you are so in love with the SEC, you should probably check out most of those teams OOC schedule. You will see it is as weak or weaker than OSU's. Of course that wouldn't fit your agenda. Keep attacking, you only make yourself look foolish. As for your buddy GP1. After I correct his BS information and lack of facts he never responds. He is like the big bully that isn't used to anyone standing up to him. I know, If I don't care why do I make such long posts? It's because I love pointing out how flawed and ridiculous your posts are. Happy New Year. I am sure your wish is for OSU to lose every game. I think you are happier with an OSU loss than a UA win. My ideal college football weekend is when Akron wins, and OSU and ND lose.
  24. Rivals.com currently has recruiting class rankings going back to 2002. Given OSUs rankings their performance, in my opinion, exceeds what would be expected. Year OSU Ranking 2002 5th 2003 41st 2004 9th 2005 12th 2006 12th 2007 15th 2008 4th 2009 3rd 2010 25th
  25. New team record: Third consecutive year (not including preseason) nobody accidentally shot watching rifle match.
