I think more efficient use of athletic tape is critical to cost reduction. The athletic department uses huge amounts of tape and discards it after only one use.even though it still has plenty of stickiness. Careful removal of the tape could enable it to be reused numerous times saving thousands of dollars each year.

I don't think Terry realizes that the out of pocket cost of a football scholarship is a small fraction of the total "value" of the scholarship. You aren't going to save football by cutting 20 or so scholarships, and I can't imagine the number of ways schools would invent to circumvent a coaching salary cap.

He has an impressive list of teams that he has no interest in, but his lack of interest may have been influenced by the fact that none of them offered him a scholarship (perhaps because they had never heard of him). .

Mt. Union can't hold a candle to Adrian College where about 90% of the students participate in a varsity or club sport. Athletics saved that school.
