    Pretty much every MAC school is right in the shadow of a Big Ten school that the locals follow. Until that changes or a school does something to distinguish itself nothing is going to change. Locals include students, imo, because a large majority of students are from the MAC footprint and grew up watching OSU, Michigan, MSU, PSU, Indiana.. Buffalo is perhaps the one outlier here, but Cuse isn't too far down the road.

    I don't think anyone's really been over the top with him.. the comment that started it was "I'll take that trade." Nothing against Aaron, he was a great teammate, but that's a pretty low bar to clear.

    I got two things out of that study which I agree with. Quality of opponent is huge. And hockey is the best sport to watch live.

    Of course McDermott was offered. Every coach that accepts a job is always the only one offically offered. No one wants word to get out that they were rejected, but this one's fairly obvious as it's been reported basically everywhere.
