    Nice to hear we can get a rematch vs the Zags and Creighton is still on the schedule. Will the Zips stay out west during that week and pick up another game? Hope so, lots of traveling and time zone change if not.

    For those of us that haven't followed the entire ridiculousness of this thread, have we decided if the Zips are poisonous or not and who these potential "quality teams" are?

    As someone who lives in NC, it's funny people are saying ECU football is nothing to write home about. They average 45k in attendance and usually have a winning record, winning 10 games a couple years ago. Their midweek games are even sellouts. That's a lot more than I can say about our program.

    Vegas 16 has a lot higher quality teams than the CIT or CBI. I think they will do fine next year if they have it again.

    There's only 8 teams in the Vegas 16. They couldn't get enough teams to sign on.

    When KD compared Big Dog to Shaq, I didn't realize he was talking about free throw shooting. 10 missed free throws. Reggie had 12 missed 3's. If either of them shot a semi normal percentage we win in regulation.

    They would probably have it in St. John arena. They did that for a game last time they were in the NIT.

    This brings an interesting question to mind. Who was the last team from a power conference to come to the JAR, and what year? I've been following the Zips since 2007 and I don't remember one during that time period.

    I'd like to see us in the 2k Class which currently has Marquette, Michigan, Pittsburgh, and SMU.     If Big Dog wants to be one of the top centers next year like Dambrot said he can be, then he needs to show up and dominate on both sides of the ball.

    I hope this serves as a wake up call to Coach Dambrot to start actually scheduling better teams OOC. Yes, I know we had a great RPI, but we had no top 50 wins and only 1 top 50 team on the schedule. Clearly top 50 wins trump RPI. Fix it.

    At the JAR, UB our rebounded the Zips by 11. If that happens again, I don't like our chances.

    5.5 seconds left down 2 we sent UB to the line. UB player missed both free throws, but we didn't box out and they got a quick easy layup to go up 4 which cost us the game as we hit a 3 right after as time expired.

    End of the game Williams had a break away and made a freshman move to try and score a layup instead of running out the clock. He was pushed in the back with no call and EMU rebounded. They quickly called TO and were assessed the technical for not having a TO left. Should have been the end of the game but we got 1 shot*. *edited to reflect 1 shot and not the 2 originally stated

    Congrats to the team and the fans who didn't actually give up during the game. I continue to lose years of my life from stress by watching the MAC tourney. On to tomorrow where we will play better.

    I'd rather have 6 loses to RPI 100-199 than 3 losses to RPI 200+.

    UCLA (15-16) 99RPI ND (20-10) 37RPI USC (20-11) 46RPI GT (14-17) 103RPI 2 of these teams have losing records, but are historically good which helps their perception.

    They were up 13 with under 2 minutes left. We only scored 15 points in the first half too.

    I hope the motivation of staying hot going into the tournament, beating our rival, and finishing the year undefeated at home is motivation enough. But, I do agree the let down potential is there after cutting down the nets. With a close to sell out, I think the crowd will motivate the team. I'm sure there will be lots of recruits there as well.
