I had a class in the JAR in, I believe 2011. I know friends after that time that have had classes in the JAR as well. When did they stop using the classrooms?

I don't think the Bowling Green Massacre happens on Tuesday. I think after being down most of the game Akron comes back and wins in the final minutes. BG hates that we've won, what is it now? 15 games in a row AT BG? 23 of last 25 or something like that? They'll be the ones playing pissed off trying to break their losing streak.

I'm sure it's a mistake, but it's interesting Akron isn't in all capital letters, which designates auto bid winners.

He never got a MAC Tournament MVP when it mattered, like Zeke did. I have to go with Zeke due to getting 9 blocks in my all time favorite championship game with this ending...Plus Zeke took us to the NCAA's twice while Romeo and Big Dog haven't (not yet).

It's also important to remember that when we were ranked, it also took some pandering. We sent brand new black jerseys to the voters with their Twitter handles on them, as well as sending them to popular ESPN hosts to get them to talk about the Zips. We also got people talking nationally about us by bluffing that we were going to include our player's Twitter handles on their jerseys instead of their last name.

I would love for a H&H vs UNCW as I live in Wilmington now. I know of many Zips alumni in our area of NC who would travel to the game (many of us worked for athletics). The only top 100 teams UNCW has played are Clemson and Middle Tennessee and they lost to both. They will probably run through their conference.

If EMU keeps winning, I wouldn't be surprised to see us as a Vegas underdog on our trip up there.

Hey, we only missed 21 free throws and still won the game by 7. In recent years, if we missed 21 free throws we would lose the game. On to the next one.

We have 1 vote and there's 10 teams in front of us, not 7. You're probably forgetting Minnesota, Kansas St, and USC who are listed as dropped from rankings, but still have more than one vote.

BobCatAttack seems to be on melt down mode on not having the athletes that Akron does. Since OU last beat Akron in the MACC, Akron is 9-2 vs OU. The team generally travels the day before MAC games (not counting Kent, Toledo, and BG).

Best quote: "I've been to four finals in seven years with two different teams, both in the MAC. I thought it was time for a new conference with a level playing field and a full deck of cards." All 4 games were vs Akron. 4-0, 4-1, 1-0, and 2-1.

There's been a few select tv games over the years where they allowed fans to fill in the bowl to look better on tv. I've been told by the ticketing office that they don't do this consistently because season ticket holders in the bowl complain and feel cheated after they paid good money for their good seats.

I like the script Akron a lot. I hate the roo head and seal on the shorts. Looks very tacky to me. We continue to get in our own way of building our brand. Ever since someone decided to do away with Fear the Roo because they weren't involved in coming up with it, our brand has swirled around in an endless pool of branding failures, spitting out new, unrelated ideas on a yearly basis.
